This amp is from the late 60's or early 70's. It was modified by Trace at Voodoo Amps. It's now a Plexi. It is a one channel amp. It has no effects loop, no reverb, no nothin' Just true blue vintage sound.I use this for gigs and practice because I love the way it sounds. Plenty of power and great tone. It has a OEI trans, cream control, mid control with a boost, and a master volume, which makes it keep it's tone even at lower volumes, but I like it loud :)

I play a Gibson LesPaul gold top and a Gibson 1963 reverse Firebird both have Burstbucker 3 pickups. I play Classic Rock and heavy blues so I don't need distortion, just gut busting gain and this amp has it.

I just got the back so I can't comment on dependability, but i know that the guys at Voodoo Amps will stand behing their work. I never gig without a backup, you never know when your amp will get knocked over or something.

I know that I spent about 6 weeks chatting back and forth with Trace so he made sure I got what I wanted.

I have been playing for 37 years. I also own a Marshall JCM 900 and a Carvin X100B head. Trust me, it won't get lost or stolen. What I love about it is that I now have a Plexi sound at one quarter of the cost, and it's more versatile than a Plexi
