This amp has had the standard and deluxe mods from Voodoo amps. It comes stock with wine red tolex/oatmeal grill with a Vintage 30 celestion. I changed the stock tubes from Sovtek to Ruby 6l6's and Groovetubes 12ax7's. I use a 12" Vintage 30 extension cab too. I liked the amp when I bought it but after the mods, I was completely blown away by what I heard. The amp cost $650 but the extension was $300(and I highly recomend it for this amp). The total for the mods was $800.(that includes the SM/DM mod,the installation fee for the output transformer, and 5 brand new tubes)

Sound Quality : 10
The mod completely removed the fuzzy characteristics as well as the muddy tones on the low end. The sound is right in your face, very punchy and smooth. The mod made the clean more like a fender and the lead more like a JCM800. No matter how much gain I use, it is very clear and articulate. Notes jump out at you with great touch sensative dynamics. The amp is also very quiet, before and after the mod.

Reliability : 10
You can depend on Traynor amps...this amp has never broken down.

Customer Support : 10
These guys are all about helping you out, and getting the "best tone" out of your amp is what they do. These guys answer or try to answer every question you can come up with. No matter how many emails or calls you make.

Overall Rating : 10
I use a Carvin CT6 straight into the amp and it's the first time in 15 years that I'm not using distortion/overdrive pedals. Straight up guitar to amp tone, and its a beautiful thing. If you haven't played this model amp, check it out! I would of paid three times as much for the lead tone on it. I've played and owned various fender and marshall combo's but unless its vintage, I'm finding it harder and harder to spend the cash for the tone that they try and pass as a reissue. Voodoo amps will help you get the TONE you are looking for. I hope this review helps, for I read and read reviews before I actually dropped it off. I am very happy with this amp!!!
