the features are good, the built in effects are great and you can adjust the presence of each effect. it s versitall but i like to play mellow blues and its was hard to get the sound . great zz top feel though. 100 watts noise reduction button that is a god!! boost switch on dis chanel and bright on clean. both work amazing. in the back it has plugfor footswith and speaker and extension speaker.

the sounds that you can get out of this amp are a slight blues(it was hard to get but i did)a great distortion for rock and a kick ass sound for lead(the boost really healps)the clean is almost up there on my top three cleans(vox and fenders)the reverb and chorus make it amazing. i cranked it all the way on the clean and got just a bit of buzz but only cause of my conections on the wiring on my cab, and crap cords. its good for heavy rock, almost metal when you lower gain and boost volume it has a really nice classic rock sound.

ive been playing for about four years and listen and play only classic rock and hard rock(led zepplin metallica black sabbath zz top boc ect.)iown a custom 2x10 and 50 watt johnson head a toneworks axg stompbox which has been the backbone of my setup for three yrs. i love this amp cause of the sounds me and my sound guys can get out of it. i dont like that there isnt 2 equalizers for each channel. i compareed it to a lot of other heads and combos(marshall vox peavy b-52)marshalls are nice and warm but this head is just as warm, vox is just a saint but i cant afford, peavy xxl was my first choice but too expensive and toooooooo much distortoin, the new brand b52 is also very nice but every time i would try it out there was always some thing i found that i didnt like. if i lost it or it was stolen would save my money and buy a vox or peavy.

Clean is a very transparent sound.....you pickups are the key here.....you will have to live w/ the same EQ settings on both channels....BUT....I have been able to set it to get the best of both worlds!!! W/ a touch of chorus and reverb the clean is awesome!!!
Lead....(w/ boost off) nice medium gain sounds...kinda JCM 800 like...(not tubes....but great tone). The amp has amazed me w/ it's TONE.....not solid state like at all....Now w/ the boost in WOW....high gain SCREAM!!! The amp has plenty of gain here....I was using the Peavey Triple XXX before this....great gain on that one but too much....the Waller has tone for days...amazing for a SS amp.....I am very happy sound wise....the effects liven things up too!!!
The Decimator noise reduction is awesome!!!!!!! The gain was noisy as usual at high settings....switch the noise reduction on and "silence"!!!!! The thing blew me away!!!!!
It is also available as a pedal and rackmount!!!! I also work w/ a sound production company and we will but the rackmount one soon for live applications...AMAZING!!! this is the same people who brought ya Rocktron's Hush.....they sold Rocktron to GHS so this is thier new and better version!!!!!!!

GREAT customer support!!!!!! I had mne shipped...and when I recieved it the effects were actin wierd!!!. I emailed them and they had a guy call me within the hour...and guide me step by step on fixing it myself over the phone (i had a gig that night)...just a simple ribbon connection bumped loose by the wild UPS turds (no offense)!

Been playing 12 years...guitarist for the hard rock/meal band Jekyll's Hiding Place.....playing everywhere and opening for MAJOR bands regularly!!! I have mown Signature Model in Switzerland through Soultool Guitars, and have designed a new BT (me) model w/ 3d-guitars....also endorsed w/ Burns USA and Steinberger (music-yo)
I endorse these amps because after trying one on a gig it blew me and the band and sound crew away!!!!!! The tone this amp has makes you go looking for it's tubes....you'd swear it was not solid state!!!! and the effects add a lot!!! Not too much...but very useful!!!
And not nough can be said about the Decimator Noise Reduction!!!! WOW!!!!!!
These amps will not let ya down!!!! I have the 4x12 cab on the way (playing a Carvin 4x12 w/ Vintage 30's now) and thier top of the line footswitch coming too!!! (which allows real time control of effects!!!) and wait till ya see the price!!!! I am also getting the 250 watt version of this head!!!!!!!
