Sounds like a $100.00 cheep practice amp, no complaints. Not very loud unless you have some kind of a pre-amp before it. Not much variety in sound, the contour knob makes little change in tone....This is common with anything made by Washburn. I found it works best with all of the knobs turned all of the way to the right!!
By the way I have used it with a distortion pedal turned all the way up, got desent volume out of it and didn't let any of the smoke out!!

Came with a nice pamplet, Explained the volume knobs operation and said something about the contour knob but I don't remember...I've slept. You can find Washburn on the web.... cool site!

OK its worth $100.00 new but not a penny more. It looks great and thats the only reason I bought it....Oh, I needed an amp for my cheepo Washburn 5-string Bass. It works fine, just not very loud unless you use some kind of effects with a pre-amp...The cabnet is well made and the perf speaker cover looks cool and is a lot better than cloth being in the "Dave" zone and right at field goal highth. Make no mistake this is not quality equipment but if you want to hear a bass it works fine.
