Not Sure of the year. This amp Has 2 channels (clean and dirty), line out, line in, loop, headphone, and footswitch jacks for o/d and reverb. Amp does great for a 50 watt 4 ohm amp. It is NOT a 1000.00 marshall or mesa, but I bought it used for 50.00. For practice and gigging in small venues this is all the amp I ever need. I play Southern gospel,Country, and Classic Rock and Roll with 3 other guys and this little Washburn has no trouble being heard.

I have played my Gretsch 6120, Oscar Schmidt OB30DL,(both with humbuckers) Ovation acc/elect with passive piezo, El Cheapo Lyon, and even my Gretsch bass (for band practice at low to mid volume) through it and am very satisfied. The distortion is great up to about 80% volume and the reverb is as good as any Fender I've ever heard. As I said before, This is a GREAT lower cost amp. If you want volume and distortion that will rip your skin and blow windows out of your neighbors house this amp is not it. Plop down what I paid for this amp plus 1000.00 more and buy what you want.

Reliability : 10
Built like a tank!!! I have gigged with it without backup and have no fear! Turn it on, it plays no B/S.

I have never needed any repair, However I don't think Washburn would quibble one bit over REASONABLE repairs. They are a well established company with an excellent reputation.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 30 years + and have collected more STUFF than space permits me to list. If this amp were stolen I would definately buy another if it were in the same price range. I love this little amp! It is Versatile, inexpensive, and LIGHTWEIGHT to take with you.

2 Channels (Overdrive & Clean), Reverb, 2 Input Lines, Jacks for head phone, overdrive and reverb, Line Out ( with Send and Return).
Solid State, 50 W.
I use this amp in my dorm room, where I crank it up LOUD during weekends. I am very impressed with it, but at lower volumes, this amp also delivers.
I bought it for $40 used, so it's really a good deal and I can't complaint..

I use Strat Plus with Gold Lace Sensors. I play Jimi Hendrix and other blues - this amp can really provide good clean sounds as well as good overdrive - you just have to tweak it to your liking. There is a little bit of noise in overdrive, but I think this is normal, and also, I use Lace Sensors.. The clean sound is quite amazing at high volumes - no distortion at all, but mine will sort of make more bad, bassy sound with the reverb after 12 O'clock <- the setting, not time, hehehe.. The distortion is also quite good. As I mentioned, I can tweak metal sounds as well Blues...heck, I dialed something close to Jimi's setting for the solo of Little Wing (minus the Leslie, of course..)

Reliability : No Opinion
I just got it this afternoon.. Hauled it on a bus cause I don't have a car..Oh yeah, lemme tell you - this thing is quite heavy. The back panel is loose, but the original owner has had this for years. The thing looks pretty sturdy, though...

Can't comment on this.

I've been playing on and off, but got serious again when I started listening to Hendrix a few months back.. I would buy it again if the price is still $40 - but if higher, I'd save up for a Fender tube amp... The price is a big factor in me buying this amp - but I'm surprised in what it has to offer. I guess if somebody wants $100 for it, you should still buy it..
