This is a strait foward thirty watt amp. I don't know what year it was made in but I think early to mid eighty's. It only has one channel a volume three band eq and a presence control and a headphone jack. No effects what so ever this amp is only for amplification. It is made of partical board and has a no name washburn speaker. This solid state amp was the best sounding amp I heard all day.

I used a Digitech 2101 studio tube. A PRS with evolution pickups and a Chet Atkins SST. I really put this amp through the trials. I cranked it up and let it rip and turned it down low to test the volume controls. This amp out preformed any other amp I have ever played. The amazing part is the cheap materals. It just sounds great Perfect mid and lower with mellow highs. Not allot of noise and really clean to hear. All of the distortion and effects comes from the effects unit so I can't attest for the amps ability for effects but since it has none the ones I pump through it it handels just fine

Because of the simple circutry I would suspect it would be a very reliable amp not much maitenance. I will deffinately incorprate it into my perminate sound. Therfore I would rely on it on stage

I have never seen another amp like this one. I have lived on both coasts and been to countless music stores. I was not looking for any special effects on an amp when I went looking for one. I found the perfect one. I would highly recomend it to anyone who is looking for an amp to play a processor or peddals through. I have had marshalls and verious fender and peavy products and so far everything else falls to a distant second!!!
