I looked at the two 15" speakers and they were made in 1976. I just got this Bass amp last week and checked out everything inside. The speakers are just 15 watt types but they are wired in series so they can take up to 30 watts of power.
For a lower power amp the audio is clean even at full power output.
My filter cap's in the power supply are starting to leak out so i'll have to replace them soon. Note: the power supply voltage output is 45 volts DC and the filter cap's are rated at only 50 volts. Make sure that you install cap's rated for 100 volts DC in the power supply during replacement.
This amp sounds very good while using a lead guitar. I'm going to try a mid range horn speaker pluged into the back of the amp with a cut out switch to see if that makes it sound even better while playing lead guitar. If you have any info on this amp, please send me a email to w9ehu@arrl.net........... Thanks.... John

There is no distortion with this amp, just sounds great.

Reliability : No Opinion
I can not tell you any thing about the reliability of this amp because I just got it and I'll looking for some one who might have some info about it that they could send to me.
Looking inside the amp, I could not see any repairs that were done to it. So that must mean that the amp it very reliable. I'm a elecrtonics tech by trade so I know something about something. HA HA.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I can do all of my repairs if I can find the parts. I do need a schematic, hope some one out there has it. Again my email address is w9ehu@ arrl.net

Overall Rating : 9
When I get about a year of playing on this amp I'll repost and let you know how it stacks up to my Fender amp....
