This amp is a 15-watt, point-to-point, narrow panle, Tweed Deluxe. Standby switch instead of Ground switch, and speaker out. Otherwise, the specs are the same. Mine was built in 2004 and comes with a Weber 12A125-O Alnico 12" speaker. This amp if perfect for Blues and Classic Rock. The cabinet is made of finger-jointed pine and overall the amp is well-built using the finest components. These amps are simple, which is part of their magic!

Sound Quality : 10
I play Strats and an ES-335. The amp is responsive with both single-coils and humbuckers. Haven't tried P-90's yet, but I image this is a great combination too. This amp is perfect for Blues! I don't use pedals. Don't need them. Need more "grit" turn up and use the volume knob on your guitar. Cleans up nicely as you roll off the highs. In my studio I usually set the volume to 6-7 and tone to 5. For gigs, set the volume to 8-9. The amp is remarkably "clean overdriven". For a thicker distortion I'd recommend a pedal. This amp is also great for small club gigs too. Kenny Blue Ray played it at one of his gigs and he sounded just like early '50s BB King!

Reliability : 10
The amp has never had any issue whatsoever. It looks to be well-built, using quality components, and properly maintained will last a lifetime.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had to deal with Mr. Wright directly. I expect he'd handle any issues promptly and with fairness.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing off and on for 25 years. This is my first Tweed amp and it's definitely a keeper. I also have a BF Super Reverb that is a nice match for the 1125E3D. If this amp were lost/stolen I'd definitely get another one. It's got tone for days and is light and compact. Perfect for the studio and small club gigs. This amp is a easily on par with similar repro's from Victoria and Clark. Perhaps not as well-known, but every bit the quality. If you're looking for a well-build, compact, blues tone machine you really can't go wrong with this amp.
