My amp was built in 2004.It's versatile enough for me.I mainly play blues, some rock.I'm able to link the clean with the bright channel by using a 10 inch patch cord.If i need brighter leads,I just turn up the bright channel a little. I don't use any effects pedals.I have a theory:Guitar, chord, amp.
I use my amp both in small clubs, unmiked. Also bigger clubs miked up.At 35 watts, it's ideal for both miked and ambiant playing.
The only feature I wish I had was reverb. That's available in a seperate reverb unit,I just haven't purchased it yet.

I play Fenders. I mainly play my strat, these days, sometimes my tele. The amp suits my style perfectly. As a blues player, I need clean, vintage tones.I hate going to jams at clubs without my amp,and getting stuck on some solid state crunch factory.Nothing against solid state, but tube is the only way to go for a real clean sound.
As far as variety there's not alot because my amp is geared for a clean tone sound.I'm personal friends with the builder, as well as former band mates.I've heard his bassman through a tube screamer, and it added a bit of punch.( he built his bassman, too ).There's actually little to no distortion, even cranked all the way. You'll run into feedback at short distances from the amp, but distortion aint gonna happen.

This amp is the picture of reliability. Just remember "It's not luggage, It's an amplifier".Don't throw it in the back of the car like an old duffel bag.Treat any amp with a little T.L.C. and you'll get many, many years out of it.I have, and will continue to gig with it without a backup. Short of a horrible accident, this thing is as reliable as a 7/11 store.
I love the configuration of the tubes.Unlike some amps, the tubes are covered by a part of the cabinet. That means no accidental contact, or damage from transporting, loading or unloading.

Honestly I don't have an opinion here.My amp has never broken down, or needed any repairs.I know the owner,Aaron Wright. He is the kind of builder who will gladly find a solution to any problem with his product.Actually, he'll go out of his way to repair something he didn't even make.Bottom line he wants people to be happy with thier gear whether he built it or not.

I've been playing for 12 years,6 years in bands. If my amp were stolen, or lost, I would call Aaron Immediately.I love the vintage sound and impeccable tone I achieve with this amp.Even if I feel like I didn't play well,I always get compliments on my amp.I also love the vintage look. This thing is built to spec from a '58 Fender Super. Tweed, and all other detail down to the original specs.I compared this amp to other tube amps, but the thing that sealed the deal is this; Why buy a Fender reproduction that has a circuit board from an assembly line? I have one that was built by hand, one connection at a time. Taking that kind of care, and time ensures a love for the product is behind it's making. Not a love for big profits.
Most of you who read this have never met Aaron Wright. You don't have to. Visit his web site, play one of his amps, and you'll understand. This guy loves what he does!
