Old Solid State Amp from the 70s and 80s--I believe mine is from around 85. I play bass for a punk band and got this amp from my uncle for free--and it sounds as good as a lot of cheap bass amps. The tremolo and reverb effects are incredible, but the distortion sucks a lot (which is OK, as I play bass). Has separate footwitch jacks on the back for distortion, reverb, trem and pre-set volume. Also has a line out, which is great for recording. With the exception of distortion, everything on this amp is great.
btw, 100W, I keep it around 4-5 and it is audible over drums and another guitar.

Very little noise overall--almost no hum (helped by my humbuckers, but still--very little noise). The clean channel distorts for me at around 70% volume--but the amp wasn't designed for bass, which is what I use it for. The bass response of this amp is fantastic--as I said, its as good as some bass amps. The distortion sucks, but otherwise the sound quality is great.

Extremely dependable--has lasted 25 years and sounds great. Plus, while most guitar amps' speakers blow when a bass is played on them, these ones can survive bass playing even at full volume without dying. I have never needed to repair anything on it and neither has my uncle. After sitting in storage for 25 years, there was an issue with the trem knob, but it fixed itself in a few minutes. Extremely reliable amp.

Never needed it to be fixed, and warranty had expired by the time I got it

I've only been playing bass for 4 months, and this amp has surprisingly not blown out due to the bass frequencies. Most guitar amps would have by now. Also, the amp has great bass response on normal guitar too, so it gets a better tone. The bright knob is great, you can really perfect your tone that way. The recording output is great, a lot of amps lack this. The distortion sucks, but that can be fixed with a pedal. Trem and reverb are killer. Overall, great amp. Loud, dependable, versatile.

2 channel solid state from the late 70's. Has distortion, reverb, tremelo, preset volume and foot switch for all 4. Tremelo is pretty decent, the distortion is not. Reverb doesn't work on mine. Preset volume works well, but I don't use it much. The eq is one of the best I've heard. There's a lot of control, you won't need to turn anything to 10.

I play mostly heavy music with a lot of deep bass. This is a very full sounding amp and doesn't crap out with the bass like a lot of guitar amps I've tried. I've even run a 5 string Ibanez bass through it and it still sounded good. The distortion is really bad though, some of the worst I've heard. But I got the amp with $75 for the power and awesome clean tone, I had more than enough money left to invest is a couple good Boss pedals. The clean is an awesome, full, rich tone and you get a lot of control. Not thin and weak like the majority of newer amps.

2 of the loudspeakers were replaced before I got it. Absolutely nothing has gone wrong with this amp in the 2 years I've owned it.

What this amp does well, it does very well. What it does poorly, it does very poorly. For what I paid I feel like I made out like a bandit. This amp is easily worth a lot more even in the shoddy condition mine's in. If you want a big, loud, solid amp, that's exactly what this is. You will want your distortion to come from some other means though.
