This is the best sounding solid state amp out there and is simply loaded with features only found on amps in the $500. price range. This amp has one clean channel and one overdrive(gain) channel however the volume & gain are push/pull pots(boosts) so right from the door you get four different sounds from two channels without touching any other knobs. Channel one has Volume(with boost), treble, mid and bass. Channel two has dual gain just like the newer Randall RH series and RG series power amps as well as master volume, treble, mid & bass. Another option this amp has is a built in parametric EQ that includes level, Q and frequency as well as very good Reverb and presence. Channel switching can be done from the front of the amp by pushing a switch. Does have a footswitch input jack as well as headphone input to play with headphones when you need to keep the volume down when playing late at night. Even more features include an fx loop with send & return and BOTH have there own level knobs. Has two speaker jack outputs, one to hook up the two 12's(which are original 3111A 120 watt speakers) in the amp and a 2(ex) to add cabinets. Like that was'nt enough, it features a direct out. Also features an A/C outlet rated at 250watts unswitched with a two way ground switch. To protect the amps electronics there are five fuses that make the amp almost impossible to burn up. One external and four internal. You can get so many different tones from this amp it's ridiculas and is very reliable. The amp has been cleaned inside & out and works perfect. This amp is a better sounding 100 watt 2x12 combo than any Fender, Marshall, Peavey, Carvin, Tech 21 out there and surley has many more features than any of them. Manufactured in USA with Japan componets. The amp is rated at 100watt RMS and is very loud if you need it to be. The amp has top notch bite and can be used to play country to heavy metal and everything in between. It also features fixed casters to make it easy to move around.

I use the amp with an Alverez custom electric with is a HM strat copy. The guitar features a Duncan invader in the bridge position and Duncan hot rails in the neck and middle positions. The guitar also features a EVH D-tuna, Sperzel locking tuners and a Kahlar spyder trem system. I run the guitar into a Zoom GFX-8 also using a Zoom TM-1 Tri-metal pedal(best metal pedal of all time, in my opinion) as an external distortion unit with the GFX-8. That's all I use and that's all I need. With this set up I am able to dial in any metal sound with the most brutal distortions I've ever heard.

Solid state with no worry's about replacing tubes which is just an added expense that lives with the amps owner for life. Been playing for 25 years and intend on keeping this amp. I keep the pot's clean and the amp is ready when ever I am. Used on many gig's throughout the years and never has never failed. This is not a perfect amp but no amp is.

Overall I rate this amp a 10, for price, reliability, features and sound. It is a bit heavy but with the casters it moves easily.
