Bought this amp new. I actually got two for stereo. The 100W is actually a solid state keyboard amp, but I needed a full frequency range amp for use with my Roland VG-8EX, which is a terrific virtual guitar system (see my reveiw in Effects Database). It's a standard amp. Not too many bells and whistles and that's good becasue I don't want bells and whistles. I want a hi-fi reproduction of my VG-8EX sound and that's what I get. As I said, this is a keyboard amp, but I'm sure you could put a guitar preamp like a Mesa-Boogie V-Twin pedal between it and your guitar and have a kicking guitar amp on it's own. I think I'll stick with the VG-8EX, but perhaps if the $$ are available I'll get a V-Twin as a backup plan. One nice feature on the Yorkville is an input for CD's so I can jam to my favorite music or practice CDs. That is something I've never seen on any guitar amps. It is very handy. I orginally picked two 50W's. They more compact, but I found the 10" speakers just didn't have the "umph" I wanted to hear, so I put out a little more to get the 100W's. I've got the "umph" but now I have a bigger cabinet to haul around. That was the tradeoff, but I opted for the quality sound. the nice thing about these is that they are wedge shaped. I don't have to fiddle with angling this amp so I can hear it proper. I just throw it on the floor and there you go. And I do mean throw. These are built solid and come with a two year warranty so that no matter what the reason for breakage, they will fix it.

Like I say, this is not a guitar amp. it's a full frequency range keyboard amp but I use it for amping the signal from my Roland VG-8EX. I use this set up for praise and worship in a variety of settings. Styles of music vary from hard rock to very quiet, peaceful dinner music. But all that has to do with the VG-8EX, not the Yorkville. All the Yorkville does is boost the signal. it does a fine job of that. I'm sure there are higher quality amps available than the Yorkville, but I feel I get the most bang for the buck with this. It's up there. That little bit more will require a lot more $$ and it's not worth it to me. Nor is it needed.

Seems reliable enough to me. Two year warranty. We use Yorkville monitors that have been around a lot longer than that and they still do the job.

Never had to deal with them. Again, the warranty is good, so I'll give high marks for this as well.

Not much else to add. If stolen, I suppose I would enjoy checking out other products again. but to get the most bang for the buck, I suppose I would go with the Yorkvilles again. its a fine amp.
