3ooK Mixer Amp No Longer made Too bad. My dilema is that I play both keyboard and guitar. This amp suits both excellant
Has 5 channels 2xlr, for mics Stereo inputs which is ideal for my alesis QS8.1, 2 effects loops send and return inputs on back for use with all 5 channels, treble bass for each channel, aux input, direct out for pa system( xlr and 1/4 ') Headphone Jack
I use this amp for live gigs for keyboard and acoustic guitar and electric with pod also as a main speaker with the old folks fiddle and miscellaneous players. because of access to the 5 channels.
Lots of power but has been used a lot because of being used it muffled out a couple times and probably needs a uhaul. Minor I love it. I never used the aux input for stereo system and I use an alesis reverb module for reverb so a reverb would be nice. It does not have the mid but withe the easy acess for this it works great. Not sure about the direct line out and find it hard to control the volume. I hope I can work that one out because I use it as a moniter when playing on stage and would like to have seperate volume control for monitor and pa.house speakers.

Yamaha 12 string LGX SA SD Humbuckers WIth the line 6 POD and an Alesis QS8-1 and reverb Alesis. I find it a good sound and not noisy sounds very solid. It suits my hard, classic rock country and bluegrass well and especially acoustic and as a stereo piano amp. It does not do distortion but that is what my pod does so to illiminate the burden of having to have two amps it works great for me . As a distortion unit I will say NA. use effects. Iwould not want it if it takes away from the other clean stereo features.

It sounded weird one time and not sure if it was me or not other wise.
But had it worked out by the third song. It may have been the Voltage thing. Also muffled up once with base sounds on the organ My guitar players are overkill loud at times. I think it needs a good tune up.

30 years playing Give or take.
Definately would want another but would have to get the 200k :-( as they do not make it anymore.
Unless I have not figured it out I wish there was a seperate volume for monitor and the line out to the PA system I love the rich solid acoustic sound. I compared it to the Roland piano amp and like this better because it was more versitile with more features and less expensive. Plus it is stereo in one box so very compact It is heavy but there are always strong guys around who love to help us female rockers:-)) I like the fact that it has two effects loops. If you find a used one buy it. Especially if you play everything and sing too. For small gigs it is great if you do not want get the speaker pa system and mixer Because this has it all in one!

This is about 3 years old. Basically a self-contained p.a. system / keyboard amp. 200 watts, 4 channels - all 4 with 1/4", 2 with XLR and 1 with stereo RCA jacks. 2 band eq on channels 1 & 2. Effects loop blend on all 4. 15" woofer & horn tweeter. Ext speaker jack, effects loop, line out, and headphone jack. No reverb.

This is one well-constructed puppy: 3/4", 7-ply poplar cabinet (63 lbs worth!), carpeted, 16-gage grille, gold-plated jacks, heavy-duty chassis, highgrade plastic-epoxy PCB. If your unfamiliar with Yorkville, they're Canadian and most recognized for the Traynor product line.

Anyway ... why is this entry under the Guitar amp section? Well, for years I've been trying to get good amplification for my acoustic guitar (originally a Fishman-equipped Yamaki but more recently a Godin equipped with both mags and a piezo). I also purchased a Line6 POD a while ago. Until I purchased the 200K I was pumping everything through a bunch of pedals into a Fender Stage 112SE which worked OK but I knew it could all sound better. Enter the Yorkville.

This would get a '10' if it had reverb. But I can use the reverb on the POD or in the effects loop. So... really a 9.8 but...

As I said above, Godin LGX3 with single coil pups and an under-saddle piezo with on-board pre-amp. Wonderful guitar, stunning acoustic sound. A Fender Strat Lonestar. Also some occasional keyboards and bass. This is a hi-fi full-range amp. It's not supposed to color your sound - just make it louder. This it does. The POD sounds just like it should (far better than through the Fender). The acoustic couldn't be better. The amp has incredible prescence and power. If you want to amplify a POD, J-station, or acoustic - look for one of these!

I cannot imagine having a problem with this amp. The construction is far superior to anything else I looked at. I trust this amp but would never gig without some kind of backup. Of course in my case I can always go direct into the P.a. if need be.

These guys are a cut above anybody else I have dealt with. They're website has everthing you could imagine (wanna build and troubleshoot a complex p.a. system? Check this site out - I said it has everything!). I have e-mailed them on three separate occasions and got usable responses WITHIN THE HOUR! They shipped out parts (replacement knobs) same day.

Research a Yorkville - research the competition. Check the price. Buy a Yorkville!
