Wedge shaped closed back mixer amp and PA system. It has 50 watts ,2 channels. Channel one has mic jack and 1 1/4 inch input . Channel two has 2 1/4 inch inputs. 2 band EQ on both channels. 10" speaker w a 3' tweeter. No reverb but has effects loop, speaker out, and CD input. Metal grille and funky carpet like covering. I do like the versitility as by utilizing the effects loop and some effects or a modeling box it can handle acoustic as well as electric chores in one amp. Hence the review in the amp section.

Sound Quality : 7
I bought this for $100 to play my acoustic electric thru (6 string with fishman 3 band active piezo system and it does a very passable job. Reverb and a 3 band EQ would be nice but it does still have a nice clear tone to it and reproduces the sound of my guitar well. I was pleasently surprised however when I ran my strat thru it. I ran thru a danelectro compressor to the amp and ran my daddy o overdrive thru the effects loop. This thing did a really nice job . The clean sound was very nice and the daddy o was able to put a nice blues rasp to it as well as push it nicely into all out distortion mode.

Reliability : No Opinion
I bought it used and it appeared to be 3-4 years old. However it looks like a tank. So far no trouble but it doesn't get alot of rough use from me as I just play around the house.

I've been playing guitar about 4 years and like to play both electric and acoustic. I think this thing would be worth a look to anyone that plays coffee houses, small bar gigs etc as it with a few effects can handle everything in one 35 lb. amp. and give you a pretty good sound in the process . Throw in one of the little modeling boxes and it should really cook. After all your playing thru a little PA system. Will people be running to stores to trade in their twin reverbs? No but like I said for those of you playing small venues or for those of you like me that like to play around the house , This is a pretty good one amp does all pkg. They can be found pretty reasonable both new and used and I will mention that it does come in a 100 watt model too.
