I bought this amp 14 years ago used for $250. Two channels (clean & overdrive). 100 watt rated with 2 10" drivers. It's got enough power to play small venues, or use as a monitor at larges shows.

Sound Quality : 4
The clean channel is unforgivingly flat, almost bland. Overdrive is a thin, "crunchy" o.d. with an empty hole where there should be some semblence of presence. Although it worked well when I played in a "punk" style band, it lacks the thickness I want in my contemporary christian band's sound. I play a noname early 70's $20 Strat copy with single wound, shorted pickups. Also play through it with a Samich electric (duncan pickups) and a Samich acoustic. The amp is pretty quiet overall and sounds best with the acoustic. I also use a pretty large selection of "stomp boxes" including a noise limiter.

Reliability : 9
I use this amp as my main at smaller venues without any back-up unit.
After the building I was playing in was struck by lightning, the amp didn't last long. it took me 5 years to finally have it fixed, but it has been working good ever since. (2 1/2 years, now)

After talking at length with Yorkville reps, they don't seem like they want anything to do with this amp. I had to have the repairs done privately, costing me way more than I should have paid (easily enough to buy a new ampeg). No idea about the warranty, bought it used.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I've been actively playing for about 5 years, off & on for 15. If by some stroke of luck it was stolen, I'd buy a half stack. It being a combo unit makes it portable, and it doesn't leave me stranded. However, it's lackluster performance leaves a bit to be desired. I wish it sounded a bit warmer.

i believe the amp was made sometime in the 70s. It has 2 inputs, but you can't use both at the same time. One automatically turns on distortion, other than that they are the same. There is a footswitch jack to switch on and off the overdrive, an effects loop, a headphone jack, reverb with a footswitch (my reverb is broken), and a signal output jack. There is a 3 knob eq and a switch to bypass the eq when using overdrive.
contrary to the other review, I'm pretty sure it's a 2x10" 50 watt solid state amp.
I think it's not bad for the price.

Sound Quality : 3
I use it with a cheap squier strat, playing ska. The amp is ok for clean, I can get the bright jangly sound I want, but the overdrive is worthless. I use a pedal, which sounds fine. The amp buzzes at times, but this is usually from the single coils on my guitar, and when I use two of them, the buzz is almost completely eliminated. The clean channel stays pretty clear all the way up. The distortion sucks.

Reliability : 6
My amp is very old, I bought it used. The reverb did not work when I bought it. After going on vacation for a week, when I got back, the reverb worked somehow. It was fine for a week, then dissappeared again. Other than that, the amp is built like a tank, and works fine.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I bought this amp used, so there is no warranty.

Overall Rating : 10
This amp leaves a lot to be desired, but I think it's great for only $150, and I love it to death. The price is right.

I am not sure what year it was made in.. It is a 100 watt solid state amp with 2 channels going into 2 - 8" speakers. It has 3 eq controls and reverb..

Sound Quality : 3
I am using it with a Fender strat and a Gibson Les Paul standard.. The clean channel is sounding pretty weak, it has no nice tone!! The distortion channel is a bad sounding solid state overdrive.

Reliability : No Opinion
It is quite durable.. I would not tour with it because of it's lacking power and size..

Customer Support : No Opinion
i doubt if i could get help for this amp from anybody.. Techs would tell me to buy somthing new rather than getting it fixed.

Overall Rating : 4
I have been playing for 6 years.. If it were stolen or lost i would go buy somthing else, like a marshall 1959 slp reissue!!
