This amp has one channel (10 inch speaker), two inputs and a headphone jack. The first input is nice, but the second is much softer, maybe because it was used. I don't really know if it is a tube or solid state because no documentation came with it. It sounds like maybe a combonation of both. It serves as a good practice amp. I don't believe it is 50W. It sounds much softer, but that may be because I haven't tried distortion on it, and I have a cheapo guitar. It has reverb, overdrive, bass, middle, treble, and master volume controls. The overdrive gives nothing like distortion, and you actually need to turn it up to give even a loud clean sound. The clean sound and reverb are quite good. I think this is a good amp, especially for its price.

The overdrive, like I said is nothing. It seems like you need to turn the overdrive up, just to get a decent clean volume. I haven't tried it with distortion, so I can't comment on that. This is great for blues type playing. The reverb makes a cool effect.

I bought this used with a 90-day store warranty. I haven't had problems with it yet, although I haven't had it long. Looks like it would last.

For the price I paid this is an awesome amp. If I had more money, I would buy something else, but I still think it is a pretty good amp and a good value.
