It has 2x12 Celestions in a closed-back box. It is rated at 150W, and has two input jacks. It's a speaker cabinet... what do you want it to have? ;-)

I bought mine new in about 1991, which is why I decided to report on this.

Sound Quality : 10
This cabinet kills. I've had it for over 15 years and have never once considered getting rid of it, or 'upgrading' as they say. I tried it head-to-head with a brand new Randall 4x12 cabinet (because I was trying out a Randall amp...), and the Yorkville killed it in all respects. It was super tight, punchy, and full. It handles anything that a guitar will ever conceivably throw at it - clean jazz to death metal distortion. It does not break up, even at high volumes.

Reliability : 10
I have gigged with this cabinet for 15+ years, and the thing is built like a tank. I have had to replace the speakers once, but that could have been from abuse more than use. That was over 10 years ago, and I seem to recall something about running a bass through it. Ooops...

I have never used a backup for this amp, as it has never failed me.

Customer Support : 10
I emailed Yorkville about some questions about their Stage series products (which unfortunately seemed to vaporize within three years of their release, and you almost NEVER see them around... sad, because they were wicked), and their support staff emailed me back with more information than I asked for. The warranty at the time was a 2 year unlimited warranty. In other words, even if I dropped it off a bridge on purpose, they would replace it. I never had to see if they would honour it.

Overall Rating : 10
I owned the matching head (Stage 150GH) with this cabinet, and finally moved up from that to a new Randall RH150 G3 head. I've played some pretty heavy guitars through this cabinet, and have done jazzy acoustic jobs where I have run a mic through a power amp to this cabinet, and it has performed like a champ. I have cranked this puppy more times than I can remember, and surely more times than I expected I might, and have only had to replace the speakers once. (see above) If I was to buy another cabinet today, it would be a matching one so I'd have two.

2 inputs in the back at 8 ohms. You can plug in a stereo amp into the inputs and merge the left and right channels. About 30-40 lbs. Two 12 inch Celestions.

LOUD LOUD LOUD. CAN HANDLE CRAZY LOW END CHUGS WITHOUT EVEN SNEEZING. Speaker do not fart out at all. Pushes some serious wind

Sound Quality : 10
I use a Boss VF-1 and GT-8 into a Peavey Transtube 100 Watter. I have used this setup into several cabs such as the Marshal JCM800 and 900 cabs, various Randall Cabs. In comparison, this YORKVILLE cab sounds just as good. In fact I find the tone way smoother. It can replicate a clean prestine high tone and handle serious modulated effects without crackling.

Brand new release from Yorkville. Can't even find this cab on their website yet. Full size (deep box) 2x12 cab.
150 watts, 2 Celestion G12T-75's! Metal grill, black tolex, metal corners. 2 inputs, mono. Handle on top. Can't believe the price...CHEAP! It costs this much just to buy the speakers, think of the cab as being thrown in for free! I don't know how they do it!

Sound Quality : 10
Sounds INCREDIBLE to me for a 2x12. Get this thing, will suit all styles. Deep bottom, nice highs, great mids. It's got the best speakers in my opinion inside (a little brighter than the 25 watters in my TV Marshall 4x12....but nice!) I play with a 1970 Marshall Super Lead and a Rivera stereo 60 watt aside tube head. Was gonna convert this 2x12 to a stereo cab but it sounds too good, don't want to mess with it. At this price I'm just gonna buy another one! Really, it sounds amazing! VERY impressed!

Reliability : 10
It's a speaker cab, it handles 150 watts. I'm sure it will last. Construction seems fine.

Yorkville is a great company to deal with, I'm sure there will be no problems. They have that 10 year even if you break it warranty!

Overall Rating : 10
I live near Toronto Canada so mabye my price is cheaper because I bought it at Long and McQuades, Yorkville's own music store.
If you have been looking for a 2x12 that can get close to the sound of your 4x12 'cause you're sick of lugging it around, and you've tried lots of brands of 2x12's only to be disappointed, here ya go!
There aren't alot of companies making great 2x12's these days. Expect way more than you paid for with this cab!
