A&P Richardson Black Nu Metal

A & P Richardson, Icon, Black Pearl. England. Built 2000-2002. Neck, 3 peice mahogany, 22 vintage fret, Gibson scale length, glued neck, ebony fretboard, 5 piont mother of pearl snow flake inlays, white pearl binding. Body,slab top 2 peice mahogany with maple cap, white pearl binding, white pearl scratch plate. Colour, panther black metallic.
Kluson 3+3 chrome machines with ebony buttons. Bridge, schaller tune-o-matic with stop bar. Pick-ups, 2x schaller super golden 50,s with passive maser volume.

Sounds like every les paul I always wanted but way better..... Smooth, rich and huge tones across the full dynamic range. If the sound is to bright backout the volume and the bottom end takes over.

Guitar was sent to me to set-up for myself to my personal prefrence, in every other respect...... perfection.

After its first studio stint the only thing done is a string change.

2 years in the building and worth the wait. Paul was his usual perfectionist self... build it I said and he did. Warranty as standard

This review probably won't get posted because there is no criticism of the instrument .... sorry but it was custom built for me and set-up by the person who plays it. A perfect guitar ? for me yes.

2 humbuckers 1 single, black ok ish, cheapo floyd rose, alright for muchin about on when you get back form the bar, but thats about it...
Korean custom UK...A bit glam rock in my opinion..Out of date

Sounds sorta twangy, but that may be due to the cheapo pickups

A bit buzzy but thats coz its always near the radiator

Have'nt gigged it, wouldnt look right, use the old SG

Its ok but in my opinion its a dated super stratty thing, but I twang away in the house with a few beers and all sounds good to me, cant complain about the price, beware of copies LOL
