This is my second guitar and purchased after a fifteen year break in playing. looks great in classic sunburst Les Paul style - no scratch plate. 2 humbuckers and 22 frets. Not a clue where it was made and this site seems to be the only one where i can get any more info.

Sound : 9
I'm a rocker, albeit older! and like to play heavily distorted rock music; currenttly writing my own stuff in a band. this suits me as its understated - hardly a BC RICH and it sounds great through my amp - Laney world series with Boss distortion. i had it demo'd by the person i bought it off and it sounded quite versatile. No undue noise at high volume.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
This was set up by my friend who i purchased it from. tension is perfect although the action is high - the former outweighs the latter. finish is great and its built like the preverbial brick..........

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is a heavyweight - literally. wouldn't use any guitar without back up but this one will stand up to anything.

I had the opportunity to properly test before i bought, therefore i asked my family to listen to the 2 guitars i have and say which one was best. My other guitar is a Levinson Blade classic (??1,200's worth) and beautiful. Three out of four preferred the AXL - purchased for ??80.00!!!!

I bought it as a back up however i'm now in a quandry as i prefer the sound to the blade!

Would buy this again - definitely.

White, Les Paul Style

Sound : 10
Using with a Peavy 80watt amp. I like a clean sound with reverb. Fitted Gibson Brite wires.

The sound, playing lead solo is lovely clear ringing tones. Unlike an earlier Westfield Les Paul version I had, which also was good, the bottom E string is not over 'boomy' I don' play much of the distorted stuff, Peter Green is one of my heros!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Action low, but not buzzy and feels very nice. Finish in all departments is excellent. Have looked behind the plates and the finish is better than my USA Strat!!
Bought this second hand so cannot comment on the condition ex factory. Nice paintjob, finished well. Frets clean.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Feels like it will last and looks nice alongside the Strat and Gibson SG!! Haven't had it long to be fair.

No idea. Don't know where it was made , although it was originally from a decent music shop in town that do classical instruments etc.

Overall Rating : 10
Ok, so it comes from the far east. I recon its cheap (159.00 GBP) 'cos its made by workers on next to nothing per hour. Compare that to those working in USA factories for Gibson and Fender. Infact, who knows maybe the components are as good. Certainly with these guitars you pay for the label. I beleieve this is a quality guitar built with care for a great price. Watch out the Guitar establishment!!

Ps Remember how Honda destroyed the British Bike industry in the 1970's??

Bought in January 2003. It is a Les Paul copy and is finished in a black, tabbacco colour. It has a solid body so is very heavey in weight, neck is slim and fast and has a fixed neck and for thid price is amazing. Two pairs of humbucker pickups, rythm and treble selector switch etc. Not a bad copy.

Sound : 9
I'm into 80's rock music mainly and this guitar is great for that. I play this guitar through a Marshall 15 MG amp and it sounds great. You can get light and heavey sounds with this and it is just superb.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The neck is super fast and the body is very comfortable when sitting or standing. When not playing there is a slight buzz through the amp but is not to noticeable.
The finish is great and the colour looks different and great in many lights. Parts are not bad for this price.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I have played live a few times with this guitar and it is as sturdy as anything, this thing is built to take almost anything.

I have been playing for a couple of years now, I think the guitar is suitable for beginers but not really intermediates or experts but it is a really good guitar and for its price is incedible value for money.
I don't think its really suitable for me so if anyone wants to buy it feel free to e-mail me and make any offer you want.
