This is a Chinese made Tele copy. Mine on is a great looking instrument. It's finished in a metallic lake placid blue type colour with a brown tortoise shell pickguard. (Im debating about putting a white one on). A vintage aged looking type neck , rosewood fretboard with 22 frets. Compared to my other teles it has a slighlty chunky neck. Fitted with 2 EMG pick-ups with usual tele set-up. Has a 6 saddle top loading bridge. The tuners are of the vintage fender type.

Sound : 9
Has a great sound a little bit less of the tele twang and a bit more warmer sounding but thats not a problem, Currently used with an Ibanez amp. It's a bit Strat sounding in some ways. Ive seen the EMG pick-ups on this guitar have had not great feedback on other reviews but I can't fault them. Sounds great when playing lead solos.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Finish is flawless even though I got this guitar second hand. For a budget brand you expect to find the smallest of problems but I cant find anything at all wrong with it. Perfect. I know the other reviews have mentioned the shape of the headstock being a bit strange Yeah it is , ive been trying to think what other guitar brand it reminds me of and best ive thought of is a Blade type. Doesn't have thru-body stringing but this isn't a problem in the slightest. Its a stunning looking guitar. As ive said previous im more than likely going to change the brown tortoise shell pickguard to a white one but thats just personal preference for what I want, it's just a beauty to look at.

I think for a guitar snob (people who only buy and play Fender's , Gibson and the others) would maybe say no about using it live. Well I think it would be great and very reliable. It's never gone out of tune on me. Even as a back-up it would make a great guitar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not dealt with them. Bought it second hand.
I know AXL and Johnson seem to be the same only AXL are the high quality guitars and better made. But I dont know much about the company.

Overall Rating : 10
Excellent guitar. Really am very pleased I bought this. It was driving past a second hand shop and seeing it in the window I thought WOW that looks a real pretty thing. So I went back and got it!! Ive tried to find info on this exact colour and model of guitar but can't find it anywhere on the net. It's became my 6th telecaster and sits proudly alongside them. All my teles I can say are budget ones but if you shop around you can get some beautiful and excellent value for money instruments.

As Below. Heck It's a Tele-clone. Tuners are Decent enough, similar to Yamaha Oil filled types and keep it in tune well. It's got vintage features like a "hat" switch tip and a blinking top loading 3 barrel bridge!!!. How........queer. Mine's got a Maple neck and is Red, and now it's got a fair looking headstock as I couldn't stand the Ibanez-gone-wrong look of the standard head.

Sound : 5
Think Led Zep I and then forget trying to get anywhere near those sounds with this as standard, unless you've a good fx setup. Texas, Some Eagles stuff and lower gain Tele sounds it gets..vaguely near to.

I think this is forgiveable for the price.

Yes the standard Bridge pup is pretty naff and compares badly to even cheaper guitars.[mines been tweaked, potted and beefed up in the pickup dept]. Neck pickup is decent with a tele-neck cover and some magnet jiggery pokery. It needs sheilding and earthing as the bridge is loosely earthed and it was noisy. Standard pups were microphonic [and not in a "characterful vintage way"] the bridge pup doesn't even have a metal plate under it [gasp!] :) . In no way can you mistake this for a telecaster. 5 as it sounds alright, but, I've played cheap Fender copies with a better sound. Once Sheilded and pickups fettled I'd say 7. Rip the pups out, Forget the EMG Tag if you've got some spare cash most replacement pickups would be better ,in the bridge at least. Now tweaked they just manage some high-ish gain sounds ok.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Very OK nut cut, bridge setup and intonation - yes a 3 barrel with OK intonation. No fret faults, all very good. Truss rod was slackened right off though. Here's a Point: if you like fat necks this little sucker is for you, it's bigger than a Pacifica 112 and roughly the same as an Epiphone Les Paul neck. It may very well be psychological, but, I swear it makes the Gibson seem small in comparision. The varnish scratches quite easilly, but, the paint and everything seems quite tough and durable. Take a mark off for that.

The playability [rhythm] and neck size is what i'm really judging it on. It's fine. Action can be brought nice and low too. Tuners are v.good for this price range that and the decent neck size and stabilty of the tele design mean this would be fine for a teenager learning their first chords on..although whole barres and Gs may be a stretch for some on this neck.

Balance and weight on a strap are good too.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Apart from the scratchy varnish it seems ok.

I've blown the warranty ..again.

I bought it sight unseen due to opinions from other people. I wish i'd known about the 3 saddle bridge,my fault for not asking...but that doesn't present a real problem in practice. Chunky neck and very playable, for me Tele [copies] are time machines.I pick them up and hours magically disappear. It's good for a Light Tele project which I bought it for. No real disappointments.

Playing 20+ years and have owned piles of gear.Habitual Les Paul type player.
Not the best cheap guitar nor the worst, but better than my last tele copy and has some character to it. Seems to grow on me.

It?s a Tele, so just your basic twin pups, 3W selector switch and single volume & Tone controls, vintage type tuners but no built in tune or effects just the classic layout, but it does have EMG Designed pups(which is supposed to be a good thing). The other hardware like pots and tuners are your basic cheap Korean jobbies, and do the job OK.

Sound : 6
The guitar sounded quite resonate acoustically, but when plugged in I was a bit surprised at the EMG Designed pups they sound weak compared to other budget models, if you buy this guitar think about upgrading instantly.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action set-up and finish was faultless, it?s stunning that you can buy this quality guitar for so little money, it doesn?t really compare with a good USA Fender or high end guitar in terms of playability or sound, but the finish is excellent.

Reliability/Durability : 8
The guitar seems well made and would easily stand up to gigging; I can?t see any problems here

I've no idea

There is no getting away from the fact this is a budget guitar and for the price you can?t really expect much, but this guitar dies deliver more than you could reasonably expect for the price, it does feel a little cheap to me but than again most of my guitar are hand built and I?m used to high end models, I bought this out of curiously and was quite stunning at the quality of the woods and finish, It would make a great starter or second guitar, and you could upgrade the hardware s you see fit at a later date, it?s truly incredible how cheap guitars are getting, you kids have never had it so good ;-)
