the tiger pro is a copy of the jacksons but is very diverse with its sounds. rich full tone when clean and crunch and bite when used with gain. humbuckers suprise with no hissing at all, but all for great sustain. overall a cracking sound for a guitar that sits near the budget end of the market.

factory setupis what youd expect from a cheaper guitar. but after ajustments i have got the action very sweet with no buzzing. pickups needed a little raising but this was a 2 minute job... they could have stayed where they werei was just faffing. Finish ets 10/10 again the routing was fine and the quilted top matches those of the PRS. this guitar glows and looks pricey. unfortunatly the floyd rose was a pain but after a setup to get intination right and a change of spings it was perfect. however this job should be done in the factoy so it falls short because of initial setup, even though its easily rectified.

use it as my main guitar to play all sorts of music from blues to rock to heavy rock. but also belts out the clean melodic stuff to without a problem. all the hardware seems solid enough, had no problems with machine heads slipping or anything, finish still as good as the day i got it. i use this guitar a fair amount and its not let me down yet

i am fairly good guitar player and have been playing for 10 years, i didnt need a guitar when i bought this but i still browse the music shops. i found this whist killin tim waitin for the misses to finish in tesco. i wasnt even gonna give it a go when i saw the name headstock but the guy in the shop insisted. havent looked back since. for 225 its a corker i wold replace it tomorrow if something happend to it. its fairtosay you dont really get bad guitars these days with the far east standards improving BUT you dont find many like the tiger pro comin out of there either. easliy rival the mid market guitars in constuction finish and sound

sound is suprisingly good from it. wasnt expected due to it being a cheaper guitar but the pick ups have good drive and a very full tone. i go through a marshall valve state with aint got the best tonal ranges and normally make humbuckerss sound mirky but the tiger pro soounded full on all pickup combinations. did not hiss at all and again unlike the cheaper easten produced guitars in the way that the tonal and volume controls worked correctly. i often find on cheap guitars the volume/tone is controled between 1-3 on the pot insteadof 1-10. this s not the case wih my model

factory setup was not the best...infact pretty poor with regardsto action and the floyd rose trem. but a bit of tweaking and better springs and it works perfectly now. the actual fit and finishing of the guitar is again greatfor the cost, it looks like the real deal but because of the inital 'setup' it loses marks

ive been playing 10years now. got a nice USA tele with a neck humbucker goin through 2x12 marshall 80W. i chose to keep this guitaras a back up and to mess about on when looking for a rocky edge over the other suff ive had in the past. if were stolen i would definatly get it again. for the price i think its a great bit of kit, very under rated, would be great for a intermediate guitarist or as a backup. if you see one have a play youll be suprised. for what you get in terms of finish, electirics and hardwear for such a price you wont beat it.

I guess it?s no secret that AXL guitars made OME instruments for a number of companies; the AEG-330 TIGER PRO is their own brand take on the modern rock/fusion guitar.
Made in China or Korea 2003, it features a Double cut-away Arched Solid Alder Wood body with a Quilted Maple Veneer, a maple neck with rosewood FB (24 fat frets)& Mother Of Pearl Modified Shark?s Tooth inlays, with binding on the edges, Die-cast Tuners, twin PAF type humbuckers with a 3 Way Selector Switch, One Volume, One Tone control and a floyd type trem.this one os in Translucent Black and looks stunning.

This is really a rock guitar but the pups are remarkably good, and compare well to high end models, I really was impressed by the sound of these pups, normally I would expect to change them right away, but there is no need, from some nice jazz and clean blues tones to Heavy riffin, shame there are no coil taps but at this price you can?t complain.

OK the factory set-up wasn?t so great, the main problem was the floyd system, the locking nut needed adjusting and the trem spring were over stretched, I adjusted the nut and put new springs in the trem and everything was fine, the general finish is first class and this guitar would easily rival the budget range of Ibanez, one point I do like is the neck, it feels more like a JS than a RG which is a good thing as far as I?m concerned, and the fret work is excellent.

I can?t foresee any problems with durability, but as with any guitar that has a Floyd it?s best to have a back up, in fact this guitar would make a great back up to a more expensive instrument.

I saw the guitar hanging on the wall and it looked stunning, I nearly didn?t bother to play it when I saw the AXL logo, but I was pleasantly surprised, it sounded as good as the JS1000 I had gone to try, and with a few tweaks became a really good guitar, I may never buy another expensive guitar again. If you see one I recommend you don?t pass it by, you will be missing out on a real bargin.
