Aardvark solid top steel strung acoustic, manufactured early 1996. The guitar, desipite being visually disappointing, has a wonderful, rich tone. I was particularly impressed with the sustain provided by the deep dreadnought body (when equipped with guage 11 Martin strings). The neck is a little bulky if anything, and rough to the touch: this is in keeping with the seemingly shoddy manufacture. However, looks are not everything as is proved by this guitar: with a little lubricant applied to the neck everything was fine again. Attack was quite remarkable: rich, deep sound. No pickup: plain acoustic but loud enough by far.
