Features : 9
Chinese made, strat shape basswood body with flame maple top, finished in translucent blue laquer. String thru body, tunomatic style bridge, 2 unknown make open coil passive humbuckers.1 each of volume and tone pot, with 3 way selector. 22 fret maple neck and fretboard, with dot markers, unknown make closed die cast tuners. It came supplied with truss rod key, and a average quality lead.

Sound : 9
The sound is typically bright for a 12 string, and while the pickups are not the best, played thru my Roland Microcube/Toneworks AX1500G, they give enough variety to satisfy me. Maybe the tone pot is a bit 'all or nothing' but as I usually have it fully open, not a problem here.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The factory setup wasn't perfect, the pickups needed balancing and the action, while good out of the box, is now superb after a bit of effort on my part. The only physical flaw was a slight blemish on the fretboard, but was something you have to look closely for to actually see. All the controls are silent in use, and in general, the hardware appears solid enough.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This is a surprisingly lightweight guitar, and from that alone, I doubt it would withstand the rigours of live use. Used as a backup, or home use like myself, it's ideal. The laquer finish on the body is excellent, but I can't decide if the neck only has a very thin coat of laquer, or has a wax/oil finish. Either way, the finish on the neck is very thin, I can feel the wood on a brand new guitar. This doesn't bother me, but I can see how this might become a problem after a lot of use for some people.

Customer Support : 9
Excellent, they were quick to respond to my questions, and the delivery was fast.

Overall Rating : 10
I've wanted a 12 string electric since I played a 12 string Shergold Masquerader some 30 years ago, but could never justify spending money on a guitar I'd probably seldom use. I stumbled on this guitar via google, and thought at the price, it's worth taking a chance on.
I'm literally staggered at the bang for buck this guitar represents, so much so, my other 4 guitars haven't been touched since this arrived. Ok, buying without trying is always risky, but in this case, if I'd seen and tried this guitar in a shop, I would have expected the price to be double or more the price I paid. It might appear I've scored this guitar too highly, but I'm taking into account just what great value it is overall. I may at some point replace the pickups and pots, not strictly needed, but they would turn a already good guitar, into something very, very good. I'd buy another in a heartbeat if anything happened to this one, the only catch is, they appear to be in short supply. If mine is typical, then this guitar is highly, highly recommended.
