I love that juicy sound! Its just the best guitar i ever played on!It is a bit quiet but if you play the string strong enough(but not to strong because then it will create a bad sound)then its excellent. It has a full sound.I like the sound.

Solid Oregon pine top, fretboard made of mongoy and sides and back made of sapelli, nice finish and solid looks

Sound pretty well, as for a guitar for that price. I just laid my hands on a four times more expensive guitar (as well Spanish of course) and it sounded less juicy and colder than my Paloma (but it looked nicer :-) Paloma needes good strings, i recently put a set of Haffenbach (mid-range price) but they sound wonderfully.

Finish is quite good, I own this guitar for over 7 years and it still looks just like it used to look when I bought it. It shines, it glooms and all I do is I polish it once in a two-year time with a furniture polish and a piece of a soft cloth. Action is about 5 mm above the 12-th fret which I think is quite OK for a seven years old guitar. I know there are guitars that look better, but Paloma is just simple, well looking and great sounding piece of wood.

Seems to be quite delicate, but I always use a carrying bag and try to avoid bumping my guitars against walls etc. so there are not many scratches on my Paloma and there aro no bumps or grooves. It is almost as good as it was when I bought it, but I've been carefull with it for all these years.

I've been playing for a about 10 years alltogrther, but I had a coulpe of years when I almost gave it up. This guitar was my third one, and the first one I didn't sell after a couple of months or so - we have been for seven years so far. I have an electric Cort (katana) and a electric-acoustic Washburn, Paloma has the most soul if you know what I mean. It is hard to play rock or jazz on it, but it is great for classical stuff or some folk pieces. If it got stolen or destroyed, I would probably get another one or I would look for one that sounds similarly. I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS GUITAR, as it is a great value for money - if you are not a Rockefeller and you won't afford anything above $500 - don't hesitate and get one - but make sure you listen to its sound before you get one. Don't leave the store without a set of extra trings, the ones mine came with were crappy, exchange it and enjoy, soon you will fall in love with its Spanish temper.

I was studying in Spain years ago and had left my guitar at home. I missed playing, so I picked up the cheapest guitar I could find and this was it. I have come to love this guitar. It has a really nice warm and sweet tone. I actually tend to strum it with a pick like it was a steel string. It sounds good played soft or hard.

As I said, I mostly strum chords on this guitar with a pick. I play styles from folky to rock. It has a very versatile sound. If you really "chunk" on it hard, it almost sounds overdriven.
This isn't a "fine classical guitar" kind of sound, but it has a lot of personality.

I have never had to make any adjustments to this guitar. It has good action and doesn't buzz. For a guitar of this price, it's quite well put together.

Well, I wouldn't say it's built like a tank. The wood is pretty thin and soft. I made the mistake of putting it on an airplane in a crappy soft case, and one of the tuners got bent. It still works, but it's a bit hard to turn.
That's when I realized how much I actually cared about this guitar and started being (a bit) more careful with it.

If this guitar was lost, stolen, or broken, I would try to find another of the same model. It's just a great knockaround guitar that's easy to play and a nice change from steel string. You get a lot for no money.
I use this guitar a lot for songwriting and practicing, because it sounds good and the nylon strings are easier on the fingers when playing for extending periods of time.
Some day, I hope to put a pickup in it and use it on stage. The pickup will probably cost more than the guitar, but what can you do?
Come to think of it, of the 4 guitars I own (2 electric, one steel string, and this), I play this one the most often.

Classic Spanish guitar, beginner's choice.
This is the low-end guitar of Admira guitars, made in 1988 (I think).
It is a Laminated top.
Altough cheap, this guitar is very convienent and joyful instrument to play.

Not very rich nor bright sound, but warm and sustained.
Good for Classic pieces and folk songs.
It's sound is defenitely can't compete with more expensive solid top guitars.

I've been playing for 15 years now and the Paloma was my first guitar. Since then I've got an electric Gibson U-2 model (very intersting model).
In Israel (where I live) the Admira Paloma is still the most popular classic guitar for beginners (who prefer buying it insteed of a cheap asian guitar.)
Another intersting fact is that a friend of mine has the same model from the same year bought almost at the same time. His guitar always sounds better than mine... (bad luck, I guess :) )
