6 string baritone made in Korea. Several nice features...actually too many for me. It's a H-S-H w/5 way switch configuration. I would rather have had two humbuckers and a 3way. The center 3 posiions seem to lose a lot of output signal. More than the usual phasing like a strat. Very nice tuners for a guitar in this price range, string through body in kind of a cool offset 3 way alignment. It's a very comfortable guitar to hold. I had another baritone once that felt very neck heavy and seemed to reach on forever even though it was the same 28" scale as this. The bridge is back on the body a little more than usual and the neck seems to be set pretty deeply in the body. This works out great for balance and lower fret access and really doesn't hurt the upper access. Anyway...you don't buy a baritone for the really high, up-the-neck stuff. At least I don't. The abalone dot markers are a nice touch too.

The first week or so that I had it I mainly played it through a Pod into my home PA. It was ok but didn't really stand out. The signal loss in the 3 center positions I mentioned earlier was significant. The full neck and full bridge positions waay overpowered the 3 center ones making a quick reach for the volume knob necessary. Then this weekend I got a Vox AC30CC1 and all of a sudden this thing really roared. The signal loss was still there but didn't seem nearly so prominent. The lows are deep and clear..not muddy at all. No noise is present either. I play it in B to B tuning so it's just a fifth lower. Play G chord fingering and it's a D. The thing has a metal look to it but can make a real cowboy sound.

This is the area of the surprise. I've had a couple other Agiles and have read lots of reviews of them so I expected it to be nice but it was much more than nice. The picture doesn't in any way do it justice. The finish is a very nice metalflake grey, not the dull silver that it looks like. The fret edges are dressed super smooth. Probably as smooth as any guitar I've ever played. I've got a Ric 330 that honestly feels like a saw blade compared to this. The neck is either unfinished or finished very lightly then sanded smooth. Very nice feel and I doubt it would ever feel sticky. It came very well set up, just needed tuning. Action was fine. I've had it almost a month now and it's probably time to give the truss rod a little tweak but it was excellent right out of the box. The overall look is probably a little too metal-ish for an old guy like me but it's ok. The black hardware probably contributes to this effect.

I haven't gigged with it and very likely won't. It's more or less a novelty to me and won't get played all that much. The hardware is black so it shouldn't flake or wear off very easily. The finish is probably standard Korean poly and should last a lifetime. Strap buttons seem secure.

I've bought a few other things from Rondo Music and always got along great. I haven't had any issues with anything but all you hear is that they're very fair and easy to deal with if a problem should come up.

I've been playing for 35 or so years, mostly R&R and a little country. I'm mainly a keyboard player but guitar has always been my first love...unfortunately it's my second talent. I bought this on a whim and am very happy with it. I wasn't gonna spend much on a baritone and feel I got more than my money's worth with it. I played one of the OLP MM baritones and like this one much better. If it were lost or stolen and I was still in the mood to buy a baritone I'd definitely try to find another one like it. It's a VERY nicely done guitar for the money.

This is a 6 string baritone guitar made in Korea. 24 Jumbo frets, solid top with H-S-H pickup config. 1 volume and 2 tone controls and a 5 way selector switch. Passive Electronics. It seems to be made of alder and is not very heavy. Finish is gloss metallic and is an excellent job. It's a strat style in the Ibanez style without the pickguard. It has string through body with a tune o matic style bridge. Tuners are nice-real grovers. The scale is 28 and 1/2 I think.

I didn't expect this guitar to sound as good as it did. The Humbuckers and single coil sound excellent with no noise. I play it through a Mesa Boogie and it rocks. This guitar is great for that over the top super heavy sound. Compared to the Ibanez Bari, it sounds identical to the Mushock sound. For the $$$$ it simply can't be beat. I play this in the standard BEADF#B so the fingering is the same for a standard guitar. Jumping from my Ibanez rg370dx is no big thing. The neck on this is just slightly wider and it is no problem.

I've had this thing 6 months and found out it is a great recording guitar. I check the tuning and it just stays in tune. It seems to be tough because I have played it in 50 degree weather and 90 degree weather and it still stays in tune. It has been dependable so far.

No Opinion
Can't really give much of an opinion on this one yet, but it seems that Rondo Music has a great program and they sell great Korean made products. This is definately the high end.

I've been playing for 20 years
I would buy another if someone stole this one. Hey for 300 bucks give this one a try, you won't be ripped off. I'm currently in the recording studio with my band BALLOONHED, and I'm using this guitar on 6 songs so far. If you want to hear a song with this guitar go to www.balloonhed.com
