What features? this guitar is horrible. The only thing that sticks out is the 28" scale. Other than that I can't stand this guitar. You might as well spend 50 more bucks and get the ESP SC model with a 28" scale as well. Factoring in the shipping that Rondomusic enforces, there will be no pricegap, especially ordering from MusiciansFriend.

Sound : 1
The guitar initially sounded terrible, I had give it a full pro setup, and then it still sounded HORRIBLE! So I replaced the tuners, the bridge, and changed the pickups for some EMGs. The guitar was still worthless and sounded crappy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
When I recieved this gutar, the action was way too low causing a bow in the neck, I had to adjust the truss rod, and then as I stated above remove the bridge and replace it to actually get anywhere. The only thing that pops out at you is the paint. Green Tribal or Blue Tribal. Get a hellraiser, and get BlackCherry. You win there.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
How much reliability can you get out of a guitar in which you had to replace everything and still sound terrible. As for the durablility that seemed futile since I only had to slam it into the ground once for it to completely snap in half. What a failure, and yes that's what this guitar is worth, a Pete Townsend style beatdown.

Customer Support : 1
What cusomter support? Kurt is rude, useless and makes terrible guitars. He'll only suggest that you pay him more money to get a quality project.

Overall Rating : 1
This guitars overall rating tops in at a stunning ZERO. If you've read my review, you know why and beware of buying this guitar. Just get the ESP save yourself the trouble, and the money. Sure it's 50 dollars more, but Rondo charged me 40 dollars shipping, in which case I had to spend 10 dollars more I wish I would have.

24 frets, all reachable.

I player pretty much just Metal to Heavy Rock, with the little alternative inbetween.
This thing does it for me, the bridge pickup is very active and has a strong sound in its own, though I perfer the bridge and the middle single-coil together.
The middle singlecoil pick is NOT active, I asked Kurt about it and he said he would test it, day or so later he sent back that it infact wasn't active, so compared to the two active pickups, this is very low volume, so if you want to play the middle you need to turn your amp up. It does have a nice clean sound though.
The neck is a beast, a load of bassiness in it. Good for rippin some solos up.

I run it thru a Randall RH200 head thru a peavey 4x12 filled with celestions. I dont use the randall head, eventhough its said to have a great distortion, mine doesnt. So I stick with my metalzone or Line 6 Ubermetal.
It is noisy, but its active....both come hand-in-hand. Its nice thru the ubermetal because of its noise-gate.
I can do harmonics to no end.

I'm giving this a 7 becuase of the singlecoil not being active, theres really no point to it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
When I got it, it had the biggest strings I seen, but I changed them to lighter ones. The action was very low out of the box, but all this was fixed easily.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Played live about 3 or 4 times with it and it never messed up anyway. The battery last a long time, even the cheap ones.
I did put a ding in it but that was my fault.
The finish is awesome. The blue/black color is perfect.
Strap buttons are nice, though I dont throw it around so I dont know.
I depend on it but I always have my other guitar with me.

Kurts awesome period!

Overall Rating : 8
Only beef I have is with the single coil middle pickup, other than that its a very nice buy and if it were stolen I would beat that person down it a bat and take it back.
Been playin for 8 years, starting off thru Metallica.
I love the color.
I would also say i love the active pickups, but I don't know how other actives sound like, since I've never tried a emg, but they sound good enough to keep.

I only wish it had an active single coil middle.

2004, made in Korea. All-maple black body, 28" scale neck, tuned B-E-A-D-F#-B, maple neck, ebony fretboard, white cream binding around whole neck and headstock (very nice touch). H-S-H pickup configuration with stock active pickups (although I've read that supposedly only the neck and bridge humbuckers are active and the middle single-coil is passive but have not been able to verify that).

Tune-o-matic bridge with string-thru-body. Grover tuners. This guitar is fully loaded, you'd be hard pressed to find anything that you could mod, all the hardware is of excellent quality (even the switch is very solid).

The stock active pickups are outstanding. Don't think you will need to replace them with an extra $200 of EMGs or anything like that.

Due to the all-maple body it is a somewhat heavier guitar, but I got used to that quite easily.

Sound : 10
I play mostly doom/sludge and death metal, with the occasional foray into thrash. I play mostly at home, either through a POD XT into a BBE Sonic Maximizer 482i or through a ADA MP-1 MOD 3.666 into BBE into ADA Microcab.

Man, this axe simply kills. The tone is crushing, thick, but not muddy and the crunch/palm muting is amazing. I changed the original strings to a thinner set (.012 - .056) and it still stays tuned to B with perfect tension, tone and sustain.

Did I say sustain? I meant MEGA SUSTAIN! You strike a chord or note on this thing and it just keeps going and going, neverending...perfect for doom metal.

For faster death/thrash playing it is outstanding as well, you can play low notes extremely fast and they retain pristine clarity due to the better tension of the long scale neck.

The stock pickups are killer, especially the bridge pickup. The neck pickup is impressive as well, I was able to get some very sweet lead tones out of it. The middle single-coil is somewhat weaker, doesn't really have a character of its own, but I pretty much use the bridge and neck pickup most of the time and they fulfill everything I expected for from this axe.

I play a lot of clean passages on the neck pickup as well and it has a rich clean tone as well. Very versatile instrument.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action was somewhat high out of the box. My guitar tech did a setup up job on it and after that it was perfect. He has 35 years of experience and sais he's never seen a guitar of this quality at this price point ($359)...could have easily been a $1000 custom shop instrument.

Outside of the poor action setup (easily corrected) everything else is flawless:the finish, the hardware, the binding, the fretwork, etc. Just an awesome, top quality axe.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Had it for 6 months now, no issues whatsoever. I feel a rush of joy every time I pick it up. Seems very, very solid.

Customer Support : 10
Kurt from Rondo is a great guy, he answered all my questions before and after via email, no issues. They have an excellent return policy at rondomusic.net, but there is no way I will ever be returning this axe...you will need to pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Overall Rating : 10
I paid $359 for a killer axe that fulfilled all of my expectations and exceeded most of them at the same time. How much more perfect can it get?

if you're into downtuning and have already made the leap from regular scale guitar to baritone, then before you go out and buy an ESP or Schecter baritone (at twice the price!) do yourself a favor and save yourself a few hundred bucks by getting the Agile AB-3500 BK instead.

You will be crushing the metal landscape in no time. I give it a 10, because despite some minor issues (mainly the weaker middle single-coil I never use anyway and the high action out of the box which was easily corrected) I am 100% satisfied with this guitar.

Only thing I wished was that Agile made a version of it with a Floyd Rose (no one seems to make baritones with tremolos, damn)

Fully loaded with Grover tuners, two active Humbuckers and a single coil in between them (HSH). Tune-o-matic bridge, two tone knobs, one volume knob and a 5 way pickup selecter.
Arched top all maple body with a set maple neck, ebony fretboard with MOP dot inlay.Jumbo Frets. Neck bound in white. 28 inch extended scale FULL BARITONE tuned from b to b. Body shape is sort of like a Schecter Omen 6. Light guitar (8lbs). All Black. Made in Korea.
The features blew me away. This thing is DECKED.

Sound : 10
I play all types of Metal. But I do endulge in other styles as well. This guitar pretty much screams metal. I don't think it would suit any other style.
My rig consists of a Randall RH200g2 head atop a Randall 2x12 x 1x15 cab, and another 4x12 Randall Cab. I use TONS of different effects, so I won't go into that. I plugged it STRAIGHT into my amp and here's what I got...
It sounds AMAZING. You can achieve a pretty much endless variety of tones with this guitar. Between the 5 pickup selector, 3 pickups, two tone knobs and a volume knob, you will find the tone you were after. The pickups are a little noisy, but thats to be expected with active pickups. They are HOT pickups. I was going to replace them with EMGs but I really see no point. This thing has sustain for DAYS. Great string tension at low tunings. I have it tuned to low A and it just growls forever. I have several other name brand, high dollar guitars and this thing crushes them all. It has become my primary guitar. The sound is full when you want it, tight when you need it and mud if you like it like that.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action was a little high when I got it. A quick truss tweak took care of that. It came strung with GHS 13-60 gauge strings. They are FAT strings. The nut is carved to accept that gauge string, but I may put a lighter gauge on this guitar. Even at low A, the strings are almost too tight for me. That's nothing to do with the guitar, just preference. I adjusted the pickup hight to where I wanted them, but they were fine for most people. Intonation is dead on. The string through atop the Tune-o-Matic looks to be setup perfectly. None of the Grover tuners were loose or dodgy.
The finish is a extremely high gloss black. The neck is bound in white. There are no flaws that I have noticed.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The guitar feels SOLID. The hardware is of the highest quality and I know it will last. One thing worth noting in this section is the STRAP BUTTONS. They are the best "stock" strap buttons I have ever seen. They have huge, fat ends (bigger than standard) that really hold the strap. I doubt I will even need strap locks.
I know I can depend on this guitar but, because it has active electronics, I wouldn't gig without a backup (who would). But I know I could make it through every show without needing backup.

Rondo Music out of New Jersey is the only company I know of who sells this guitar. They are great people to deal with (especially Kurt). They are very accomodating. We had a typo on the shipping address.. I called them, they redirected UPS on the spot and the problem was solved. Impressive. I don't even know if this guitar has a warranty. But I bet if something happend to it, Rondo would help me without question.
I was lucky enough to get the last one in production. It had been played a few times prior to me buying it (display model). I feel very fortunate. When I inquired about wanting one of these guitars, they said "sorry, all sold out." Then I got an email saying "we have the last one for sale in the US". I jumped on it and I'm glad.

Overall Rating : 10
I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this. I figured it would just be another cheap Korean guitar. But NO. This guitar could easily carry an 800 dollar price tag. Serious, it's that nice.
I've been playing guitar for 15 years. I've has a number of guitars. I currently own 3 USA Vintage Deans, an Ibanez 7 String, and an Iommi SG. The Agile AB3500 plays and sounds better than all the guitars in my collection. The sick part is that it cost 1/3 of ONE of my Dean guitars. If this guitar were stolen, I would probably kill myself because I know I won't have a chance to buy another because they are out of production. For my playing style, standards, and requirements in a guitar, the Agile Baritone has nailed a perfect 10 in every aspect. I reccomend that any metal guitarist out there buy one if they EVER see one for sale. This is my perfect guitar.
