See my other review for all other comments - I will only comment with short notes on everything else.

Everything else about this guitar is excellent. The thickness of the body is great. the tone solid and sounds better and better in a tube amp everytime I crank it up. Probably settling in like my AL2000 did for 8 months.

Finish - the Blue Flame is too dark and disappointingly uninviting.
the finish doesn't react to lighting at all, which is something I really like about flame tops. Looks more like a photo top than a veneer.

Sound : 8
Sounds very good. The 9's I put on it have effected the tone enough to know I need to go back to the drawing board and find another string brand

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
perfect except for the B stock spot on the headstock which saved my $199.00 - I'm good.

Reliability/Durability : 10
solid

Customer Support : 10
rondomusic - consistently solid

Overall Rating : 9
nice guitar but the finish really is disappointing to me.

AD3000M Blue Flame Double Cut (exactly like the gibson Les Paul DC except for the gumby headstock - which I Like)
Made Nov 2008 - bought Jan 2008. Korea (Rondomusic.com)
22 Frets on Ebony fretboard with Abalone trapazoid inlays
Mahogany body, mahogany neck, 3/4" candian maple top with maple (you see the cap) binding and a blue flame veneer top and matching blue flame headstock

2 Alnico V humbuckers, 2 volume, 2 tone controls, 3 way selector switch

Tune-O-Matic bridge with 18:1 Grover Tuners (chrome)
Slightly fatter neck than most Agiles - but not too fat - very nice

Sound : 8
The neck pickup is smooth and warm and very nice. The bridge pickup sounds like a Burstbucker - not enough output for me so it'll go for a Seymour Duncan JB - my personal favorite

Tube amp, amp modeler, Marshal DSL50 - lots of effects

guitar is completely solid and noise free

Sound is solid and comforting - a bit soft for my taste but exaclty like a gibson.

Harmonics are excellent out of the pup though - my pals love the tone but I play a lot of runs which require just a bit more edge

Love the guitar and it's overall tone - will replace the bridge pup to hit more to my taste

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
OK - this is exciting - the intonation was perfect right out of the box. the action was almost perfect - brought it down just a touch and now the intonation and playability is spot on

Everything on the guitar is perfect, except for the B stock problem - the tip of the Gumby headstock was missing the blue flame (just a tiny little spot that shows the wood - it allowed for $125.00 off)

Reliability/Durability : 10
this is a section that almost never needs to be filled in for Agile guitars. these guitars are rock solid, stay in tune and are usually unwaveringly perfect. this guitar is no exception. It just works and is rock solid.

I would just take this and nothing else to a gig but what's the point of havinng 15 guitars if you can't take a couple with you

Customer Support : 10
Rondomusic typically works flawlessly with the customer. I've dealt with Kurt a number of times and have never been disappointed except for maybe his short e-mail answers.

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing for 19 years. Own lots of <$500.00 guitars and have a Marshall DLS50 and Peavey Ultra Plus both with 4x12 cabs. This guitar was a test for me to see if I'd like a Les Paul Double Cut style guitar over a Single Cut Les Paul style guitar.

Here is the only issue with the guitar. - I play all the way down the neck and the way the neck meets the body pocket is a problem for me to get to the 22nd fret. I'm also a 24 fret guy so not being able to comfortably access the 22nd fret is disappointing.

With that said, unless you play shred metal like I do this guitar is AWESOME for everything else - blues, jazz, rock, groove, grunge.

I wish this had 24 frets and a scoop for the left had to access the highest frets
