I bought this guitar merely love at first sight, the machine etching on the body and the pineapple inlay on the headstock, (which mine didn't have, it shines like a new penny, absolutely stunning to look at. Only trouble so far, keeping fingerprints from marring the metal finish, and there is some tarnish and corrosion creeping in, not sure what product to use to polish and perhaps seal without interfering with the gorgous tone.

Sound : 10
It's a specialty ax that really suits delta slide, although I have used it for country sounding tunes-It's bright, gentle overtones can evoke a banjo, a mandolin, any number of instruments-it sounds really good just miked, although I'm considering having a pickup installed for more effects options-It's so pure, though, wouldn't want to spoil it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action was perfect out of the box-Only problem I've had was having to shift my playing postion to the far knee (like a classical player) because it's so heavy-I find using a stool helps settle the weight issue.

Reliability/Durability : 6
Just the corrosion issues still unresolved, but it hasn't effected the tone-I am dreading neck issues, but hey, at this price, I'll just buy another one.

Customer Support : No Opinion

I own a gibson big body, a fender strat, an old laptop slide, and a bean blossom resonator-This shiny tank gives me another sound in the arsenal. I would definitely buy another one down the road. Why spend a couple of thousand on an overpriced National when you can have the same, (or better) sound from this remarkable copy?? I love it!!!!

Made in Korea. You can get all the stats at rondomusic.net. This is their housebrand and sort of well known for their LP copies.

Sound : 10
It sounds like a resonator guitar should. I dont have a lot of experience with these type of guitars but I will say out of the ones I tried in this price range this has them beat, hands down.
It is loud and rich sounding. Some think all resonators are tinny but that is not really the case.
I personally think it sounds like angels in heaven.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Rondo/Agile is known for bang for the buck. You get what you pay for but with this company you get more than you pay for. The thing looks beautiful, action is a perfect compromise between a slide setup and a regular setup. No flaws that I can see.
As far as the finish.... It's nickle plated brass body and it shines like a mirror. It's beautiful to look at.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It seems like it built like a tank. I would not want to get hit with this in the head at a barroom brawl.

Customer Support : 10
I've owned another Agile and their support is first rate.

Playing 40 yesrs.
I would buy it again in a heatbeat.
It sounds so achingly beautiful. A fragile yet loud sound that is impossible to duplicate on other guitars. I am sure a National would sound better but for less than 400 bucks this is a super deal.

I bought this guitar because I wanted to just fool around with open tunings and some slide stuff but I have to say I am hooked on it. I am getting into Travis Picking and tackling some Robert Johnson stuff as well. In fact this box has inspired me more than i could ever have imagined.
I can't think of a better bargain even if you are just slightly interested in a resonator... get this. You will not be dissapointed.
