Sound : No Opinion
Haven't played it thru my Line 6 Spider II amp yet, but playing it unplugged, it sounds (to me) what a guitar should sound like unplugged which is in tune.

I've had two other Korean Les Paul knock offs (S101 brand) & when I would strum them unplugged it sounded like crap. Like it was out of tune or something. I strum this one & it sounds great & in tune.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Action came from Rondo LOW... had a buzz on the low "e" but adjusted the bridge tun-o-matic with the turn or two of the screw driver & it was out of there.

The finish is very good. The top matches pretty well. All the knobs work & work properly. The neck was straight, the first 3 frets might could use a little work, but we'll see.

The wide Fretboard is AWESOME... I'm afraid it's gonna spoil me & cause me issues when I play my other guitars now!!!!

It's just a bit wider & it's enough for your fingers to find the chords/notes that much easier. Again not a HUGE difference, but those few 1/8 of an inch make all the difference.

I have large hands by the way with long fingers.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I have not played the guitar live, but from all I've researched & from the feel of the guitar you shouldn't have any issues.

Strap buttons seem great, I'm gonna swap them to strap locks of course.

It's got a great weight & feel to the guitar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I hear Rondo is great with customer support. Kurt has been responsive to e-mail within 24 hrs every time I've had a question.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing guitar for a little over 2 yrs. I own another electric (Gretsch G6120 RHH), an acoustic (Taylor Big Baby), an acoustic electric (Breedlove AD plus).

I did research the guitar a lot before my purchase, I suggest you do the same.

If it were stolen I'd buy another for sure! LOVE the wide fretboard makes all the difference! Plays very easy.

Compared to an S101 Les Paul: 100x better guitar all the way around

Compared to an Epiphone Les Paul: 50x better guitar in sound, feel & options & materials used to make this guitar.

Case I had to buy with it is nice as well.
