Agile AL2500BKFR24

Brand new 2500 with Floyd Rose in white finish. Two humbuckers, 2 tone, and 2 volume. Locking nut, etc. Exactly what you would expect of a LP copy with a whammy added.

For the money, adequate. I have heard much worse pickups and much better. They don't get in the way and they get the job done ADEQUATELY.

Poor setup and strings buzzing. I had to raise the bridge to stop the E and A buzzing. The finish is nice and the neck feels pretty good, but I do have a little divot in the finish at the neck that was just painted over instead of filled. The rosewood of the fretboard is not pretty. It looks very dried out. Maybe I can put conditioner on it and fix that. I do believe when I get it set up and conditioned and new decen strings on it that it will be okay CONSIDERING THE PRICE.

The electronics are probably cheap junk and the knobs certainly are. I can change those. It will probably be durable, but the materials used are somewhat substandard. Not too bad CONSIDERING THE PRICE.

Been playing 31 years. I'd say this reminds me of the quality level of some Hondo Explorer copies back in the '80's. Not too bad CONSIDERING THE PRICE. Do not expect a fine instrument for cheap import price. I have seen much worse, but don't let anybody tell you this rivals the imported Epiphones or PRS SE's or the Parker PM20's, etc. I collect / own all kinds of stuff both big name (GIbson,Fender, Steinberger), import ( PRS Tremonti SE, Schecter Diamond series C1 elite, and two PT ELites), and now this knockoff. If all I had was 250 and needed to buy one guitar, then Agile would not be my choice. Squire and Schecter and Dean and others can give more bang for the little buck. If it were stolen, I would not buy another one. Since I now have one, I will play on it. It is my new "beater guitar". And if I ever get in a WHO kind of break things kind of mood, this axe will be the go to.

I ALWAYS WANTED A "PAUL" WITH A FLOYD BUT THE $$$$ WAS INSANE.THEN AGILE ANSWERED MY PRAYERS AND HERE SHE SITS!!! A BLACK BEAUTY W/GOLD HARDWARE!!! THIS GUITAR BY NO MEANS COPIES THE GIBSON PRODUCT.THE FINISH IS BETTER THE NECK ACCESS IS BETTER AND I CAN'T FIND A FLAW...I LOOKED FOR QUITE AWHILE. THE TREM ROUTE IS CLEAN TOO. JUST A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ARTWORK FOR PENNIES. I AM SO EXCITED TO GIVE OTHER MODELS A TRY...I COULD HAVE A WHOLE COLLECTION FOR WHAT ONE GIBSON WOULD SET ME BACK...GEES THIS GUITAR PLAYS THROUGH MY MESA TRIPLE REC GREAT!!! MY BEHRINGER STACK LIKES THIS GUITAR TOO...GOTTA GET AT LEAST ANOTHER "AL-MODEL" ,A HARD TAIL , THEN I'M GOOD TO GO!!!

FACTORY SETS IT WITH 10'S I LIKE 9'S SO THIS CHANGES A FEW THINGS BUT A FEW MINUTES AND I WAS TEARIN' THE PAINT OFF THE WALLS!!!! THE FACTORY SETUP WITH 10'S PROBABLY WOULD BE GREAT OUT OF THE BOX FOR SOMEONE THAT PLAYS THEM. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GUITAR APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN GONE OVER. I AM SURE THE Q. A. PROCESS IS TIGHT...THE BRAND NEW GIBSON 1960 REISSUE I HAVE NEEDED MAJOR TWEEKING TO GET IT RIGHT...I HATE CLUSON TUNERS THEY GOTTA GO...THE GROVERS ON THIS ARE SWEET AND I PLAY IN TUNE FOR HOURS.

LIVE PLAY IS A DEFINITE YES WITH THIS AXE!!! THE HARDWARE AS WITH MOST GOLD HARDWARE WILL AGE A BIT BUT THAT WILL JUST MAKE IT LOOK MORE VINTAGE. WITH A FLOYD OF ANY KIND YOU NEED A BACKUP PERIOD. MY "PAUL" NEEDS A BACKUP JUST FOR TUNING SAKE GO FIGURE. ALL THE HARDWARE IS TOP NOTCH AND SOLID. THIS IS A DEPENDABLE AXE AND I'LL GET ANOTHER AGILE AS A BACKUP AND PUT THE "PAUL" IN THE CASE AND TREAT IT AS IT SHOULD BE TREATED AS AN EXPENSIVE ANTIQUE , ALL ORIGINAL , AND SIDELINE IT FOR "INVESTMENT SAKE" ONLY. I'M AN AGILE MAN NOW AND PROUD OF IT TOO!

KURT IS GREAT!!....ROCKET EMAILS...PRO ANSWERS TO ALL QUESTIONS. JUST AN OVERALL EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. I NEVER FELT LIKE I WAS BEING DEALT WITH BY A USED CAR SALESMAN...I'LL BE BACK KURT IN A BIG WAY!!!...SO WILL THE REST OF MY BAND!!!!

I'VE PLAYED A LONG TIME...IF I SOMEHOW GOT SEPARATED FROM MY AGILES...I COULD REPLACE THEM IN ONE PAYCHECKS TIME; NOT GO INTO DEBT LIKE I DID WITH MY VERY EXPENSIVE GIBSON PIECES. I'VE PLAYED THE "NAME BRANDS" MY WHOLE LIFE...AND THESE ARE JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER IN ALOT OF RESPECTS....MY ADVICE PUT THE GIBSON ON A STAND AND ENJOY IT AT HOME. GIG WITH AN AGILE...ONE DAY THE NAME AGILE WILL BE AS VALUABLE TRUST ME...BUT UNTIL THEY COST MORE THAN THEY DO GIGGING WITH THEM IS AS ENJOYABLE AS THE NAMEBRANDS AND YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY SOMEONE TO GUARD YOUR AXE AT A GIG LIKE I USED TO.I CAN RELAX AND KEEP MY MIND ON THE MUSIC AND THE AUDIENCE.
