I'll start with the specs for anyone who doesn't know them yet. 2003 Model, made in Korea. It has 22 frets, a book-matched canadian maple top, grover tuners, a conventional three-way switch, two tones and two volumes, LP style. Aditionally, it has passive Type V Alnico Wilkinson pickups. The neck is a one-piece mahogany, ebony fret board. It has a gorgeous CSB flame, absolutely stunning. ps: triple binding. And I would like to add that I didn't get neither the graphite nut nor the adjustment key for the truss rod, even though it was advertised. 8.5 would have been a more approximate rating.

Sound : 9
Well like any LP clone, humbuckers give a thicker sound, and I finds this very helpful when playing powerchords especially. But when playing arpeggios, and normal chords you still get a great crystal-clear sound. I'm using a solid state 20 watt marshall amp, so I can't appreciate this guitar to its fullest, but I can only imagine how it sounds. There's no noise whatsoever, and the sound is VERY rich and full, and on the bridge pickup quite bright, though without the twang. I love the sound from this guitar, as when I compare it to my squire I can't help but feel like my squire sound flat, almost two-dimensional, while the AL3000 has a three-dimensional feel, in other words it's fuller and has MUCH more presence.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The guitar was abolutely perfect in ALMOST every respect. The CSB flame top is so gorgeous, the inlays, and triple binding, that I've woken up many times in the middle of the night just to admire it. The setup was near perfect, EXCEPT for an annoying fret buzz. It comes from the low E and A string. The higher the fret the louder it gets. I've adjusted it considerably and managed to decrease the fret buzz, but you can still hear it faintly (ungplugged), even when playing softly. The truth is that I play quite hard, and I have fret buzz in almost every guitar if I play hard, but this guitar is EXTREMELY loud when unplugged which is a good thing, but it inevitably accentuates the fret buzz even more. I'm planning to send it to a repair man, since it's obviously a minor fix from what me and my friends have determined.

Reliability/Durability : 7
I think this guitar will withstand quite a beating. And the hardware seems like a big upgrade from the 2800 and 2500. The finish doesn't look thin at all. There was one mayor dissapointment though, the strap button closest to the neck came off as soon as I put a strap on. The screw was buried in a whole just as big, so you could slide the screw in and out of the hole. Now I've had U$70 guitars with better durability, and this really is a joke. But yet again, this can be fixed easily. But I'll give it a hard rating.

Customer Support : 6
Actually, I ordered this guitar from rondomusic, all the way from Colombia South America, so customer support is non existent. I tld kurt that I needed the guitar carefully checked due to this reason, so the two small problems the guitar came with were a bit of a dissappointment.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing acoustic guitar for five years, and electric for a year and a half. I have a squire, and wanted something totally different so I could diversify my sound. As for the amp, I was a SS 20 watt Marshall. Nothing special. If it was stolen I would kill myself... since I have no money left.

I love the appearance of the guitar, and it was a great sound, even with stock pickups. I hate the little quirks it came with though. But I guess you become more attached to the guitar once you fix it up yourself so I would definetly buy it again.

I bought this guitar because in the LP copy real, this is THE BANG FOR THE BUCK. You'll need to pay three times as much just to start beating the sound and finish of this guitar. Only Gibson and maybe Tokai can beat this.

I wish the inlays weren't abalone..... they're a bit tacky for my taste. But that's just me.

Finally I want to add that I'm very happy with my guitar, and I take care of it like if it was my baby. That hasn't happened with any other guitar.

I know most people rate the Agile extremely high, but I think 10 is for perfection, and onyl very few guitars in history should get this rating. Most people tend to idealize what they have.... but I've tried to be a bit more objective.

My friend and I went to Rondo Music to check out the LP2800's. While ready to buy one each the salesman pointed out the AL3000. Glad he did! Some major upgrades from the 2800... ebony fret board - feels and sounds great. Abalone inlays, higher grade Wilkinson pick ups, nickel plated hardware, 18-1 Grovers, 7 ply binding and beatiful maple top. They only had 2 in the store, and only the flametop. Only took a few minutes to know what a winner this new model is.

Sound : 10
I use a Marshall MG50 and the guitar sounds great! Typical Les Paul balls and great smooth rythmn. I play alot of Beatles and Fleetwood Mac and it covers them all well. The pickups have a nice sound even when you lower the volumne, no major drop off. Sustain is all day long and add some effects and you can't believe the sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Beautiful one piece mahogany set neck. Ebony fret board gives a nice clean, sharp sound and feel. Aciton was good but will need some intonation adjustments. Hardware is nickel plated and seems high quality including the 18-1 nickel grovers. Frets are hand filed and feel great. Beautiful bookmatched real maple top.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Seems real solid, but have had it only a week. Used it live already, and should be able to handle the road. I always bring a back up but this guitar seems to dependable.

Based on previous reviews on Rondo, my road trip to the store and my emails with Kurt, I believe that they stand behind what they sell. If you are in the NY area, worth going to the store.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for more than 25 years, I own a PRS, Strat, Ibanez, Kelly and have owned Gibsons. This guitar for the money is one of the best deals you will find. I gig most weekends and this guitar will certainly be one I take every time. It has a classic sound and feels as good as any guitar I have played. I really like the ebony fret board. Looks great and should be in my collection for many years. I would definatly buy another if it were stolen.
