Paid $159 on sale

Std Features for a Les Paul clone, my guess was this was produced end of 2004 - early 2005. Standard Les Paul scale. Supurb Goldtop finish with a bit of a green tint to it (which is how REAL Gibson goldtops where made. Three volume and one tone control (Passive electronics) pots are are ok, I personally replace all my pots and switches to a higher quality but its certainly not necessary. Three L-O-U-D P-90 Alnico pickups, super sweet and very aggressive. I love the whole P-90 vibe! Body and neck are made out of Mahogany, set-in Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard and trapezodial inlays. Tune-o-matic bridge & Grover tuners, sweet axe. Has a late 50's style neck

Sounds better than my P-90 Les Paul that I've had for YEARS! I am still shocked at the quality of these. God bless cheap Korean slave-labor (F*** being politically correct) and a great supply/source of beautiful wood (Korea is very humid) Sounds like a Les Paul should sound, BALLSEY!
P-90s are admitidly noisey but, thats what makes them sounds so great when the volume is turned WAY up.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Action fit and finish is amazing, BETTER than some of my newer Gibsons. I've been a gear hound for 30 years and I am still amazed at the quality of these Agiles. And yes, on occasion I've picked up one or two clones which didn't quite make the quality control mark BUT, at least I didn't spend 2K like I did on my Gibson-SWILL (new Gibsons bite, nothing at all like the ones I bought back in the 70's and 80's, completely over-priced CRAP)

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have well over 50+ Agiles at this point and all of them are ROCK SOLID and yes, I am a fanatical collector/player. The reason I am buying them like I buy candy is because one day, not too far into the future, these are gonna sky-rocket in price. Just imagine if you could go back to say, the late 50's or early sixties and go pick out a new strat, Tele or Les Paul? I spoke with the owner of Rondo personally. He told me he couldn't give away Les Paul standards back in the early 60's let alone sell them. If you're a young cat just starting out looking to score a great axe cheaply, then pay a visit in person to Rondo and see why these are flying out the door.

Customer Support : 10
The previous reviewer must have spoke with Kurt on a VERY bad day of the week (or, he's a complete idiot) because I have NEVER had one problem with anyone at Rondo. Nice, respectful guys who know the buisness in and out and Kurt by far is one of the most professional sales people I have ever dealt with.

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing since the early 70's. I own more equipment than I care to think about. I'm not even sure exactly what I own anymore as my 3rd floor is has become my own personal warehouse. I LIKE GEAR! I'd replace this ASAP if it was stolen but not before I found the bastard who took it and then beat his sorry ass down with my triple P-90 (and that would HURT, this things a tank) The only other guiters which I feel are better made are the very early Ibanez Musician models from the late 70's, early 80's. SUPURB INSTRUMENTS!

1. I bought this guitar from Rondo Music--while the guitar is great--beware of Rondo Music--they have a guy there named Kurt--in customer service--very poor customer service! He sent me an email--indicating that I'd receive a tracking--to track my guitar--but didn't include the tracking number. I emailed him--simply asking to send me the tracking number--thinking it was an over site--hell--they guy writes me back in a sarcastic tone--still not tracking number--finally I ask for a refund--stating if they are the kind of music store that is a hypocrite--I wanted a refund. Then--suddenly--he sends me an email with the tracking number. BEWARE OF RONDO MUSIC--they hve no customer service ohone number--so you can reach them--if you need to go over the jerk--Kurt's head--also note--they negative feedback on Ebay about them!
