Mine is Agile AL-3500 Prestige CSB Duncan.
It's basically a Les Paul copy, but it's a good copy.
It has almost the same features as the previous review,
but the difference is Seymour Duncan pickups.
Seymour Ducan SH-2N (Jazz)in neck position.
Seymour Ducan SH-1B (59) in bridge position.
Basic features:
- Made in Korea
- 22 frets, Scale length 24 3/4"
- 2 piece Solid 3/4" Maple top with REAL flame pattern
- 2 piece Mohogany body
- 1 piece Mahoganny set neck
- Ebony fretboard (usually more expensive than rosewood)
- real Abalone Trapezoidal inlays
- Gotoh bridge and tailpiece
- Grover tuners / pegs
- Individually hand filed frets
- low action setup
- 10lbs

Sounds really warm and amazing! It seems like an AL3500 with non-Duncan pickups has brighter tone, but this one has really similar tone as Gibson Les Paul Standard.

It was already super low action when I get it. Extremely nice feeling.
Finish is just awesome.

Extremely good for the price.
Do you want to spend $2300 for Gibson name?
Or do you want to save $1500 by getting Agile?

The sound is amazing. When i first plugged it in, i noticed that the sound is much brighter than any other humbucking guitar i've ever played.

The setup that it came from the factory is good, but its extremely low action. They got it as low as it could go without buzzing.
The finish was also amazing, just like everything about this guitar.

This guitar will definitely survive anything you can throw at it. Its great for live playing. So far i have not needed straplocks, because the buttons on this thing at enormous. I will definitely depend on it when i gig, but i will always have a backup

i've been playing almost a year, from what i can say, this guitar is perfect for me. I haven't found anything that i liked better than this guitar. If it was lost or stolen, i would go out and buy one asap.

Korean guitars seem to be getting better and better. This has all the standard Les Pual features. The pickups are Korean Alnico ( I skipped trhe SD upgrade) and I must say I am impressed. They sound much better than my Epi LP did and as nice as any studio I have played. He hit most of the fetures below so I won't repeat too many, but 18:1 Grovers, Gotoh Bridge, 3/4 Flame Top, triple body binding, Premium US Braided Wire, High Voltage pots, brass shaft, Solid Mahogony, Bone Nut, plus they include a precut graphite nut. Who could ask for more for $499 (I hear they just went up to $529 but that is still a bargain).

This thing sounds great. I know a lot of people instantly change out pups, but I have found no need yet. I use it with a Peavey Classic 30 and a Woodcross Bluesbuster Jr amp. It has that killer LP tone. Sweet Blues and Rock guitar. The sound is rich and full. It is a tad brighter than the LP's I have tested, but not in a bad way. It sound very nice. It will sustain all day.

The action on this was great from the factory. I always take my stuff to my local luthier because he know how I set my stuff up. He checked out and said he charged me a minimal charge for checking it out. He said the intonation was dead on and the action was so close to where he normally sets mine that he did not touch it. The guitar was flawless when it came in.

I have no thad this long enough to really rate this, but it is solid like any LP should be. The only thing I have noticed is that I have gotten a few very, very light scratches that lead me to believe the finish may not be quite as hard as a higher end guitar. I have used it a lot, but I take care of my stuff, so I do not know of any mishandling. That said, you would never see them unless you really looked. It is still beautiful any way. I just put a couple extra coats of Gerlitz #1 wax on it for protection.

Kurt at Rondo is great. He answers emails instantly and takes care of any problems you have. I have only ever dealt with him and one other salesman. Both were kind and curteous.

I give this a solid 9. I will not even compare it to a Gibson other tahn to say it is far better than any studio I have tried and a couple standards. It is not fair to compare it to most of the Gibson LPs. It is a nice guitar in its own right. If you do not have the money for a real LP this is the way to go. It is better than all but the Elitist Epi's (and better than the Elitest Studio) and some lower end Gibsons. I also own a PRS Santana SE and a DeArmond Starfire. This is a nice compliment and has become my main electric (to go with my Carvin C-850 acoustic). If it were lost or stolen I would freak and get another. Hopefully they will get more Black Cherry modles in like mine. It is a sweet color.

This is a Brand Spankin new Agile AL 3500 les paul copy. Prolly the best guitar they make, it is ALL SOLID WOOD. Solid two piece mahagony, Solid bookmatched AA Maple on top. No fotoflame, no thin ass maple cap! 3/4" Thick Top, I checked. I previously owned an epiphone could easily tell it had fotoflame and a three piece alder and mahagony body. I sold it to get this Agile, it feels a lot heavier and feels solid when playing unplugged. It has upgraded electronics, and even a Seymour Duncan option but i went for the regular pickups cuz i had my own Duncans ready to install!! Strap Buttons were huge and strong, but i still recommend going to Straploks. Ebony fretboard will sound a bit brighter than the traditional Gibson tone

Playing any other cheap korean import, you will prolly notice the sound is hollow, thin, with no power, body or full tone. I personally played a few real Gibsons, my epiphone, and the Agile, and the Agile is hands down better than any other import. It is just about as heavy as the Gibson, with the same solid construction, the only difference is that its made in Korea ( prolly by machines/unskilled workers) as opposed to USA ( prolly by machines/unskilled workers). The only differences come in the ebony fretboard, which is a nice option. It adds brightness to the guitar, and it just isnt the same as a Real Les Paul. It feels a shitload better than Rosewood, and I personally like the different sound. Throw in your favorite pickups, and this thing will crank.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The Action was fine, set up with 10's, the Fit is so solid and tight. The Finish is also really nice, the lines are clean and the gloss coat is thick and shiny. Intonation and everything seems to be fine, but im replaceing the bridge with Tonepros cuz I think everyone should. The top isnt a super 10 top, but it is about the same you can get with a Les Paul Standard.

This thing is solid, but i will update this if it falls apart. The switch is a lot more solid than the epiphone, but not quite as solid as the Gibson.

Rondo Music deals with Agile directly, you get better prices and get a chance to play these instruments if you live in the NJ area. I tested it out and had to order one online but the employees are very nice and work with you.

This guitar, with the upgrades i usually put on all my guitars, ( even a Pickup change on a Gibson) is very versatile and powerful. Throw in some push/pulls and coils splitting and you get a guitar that can go from the thick meaty les paul tone to a clean, funk, or jazz tone so easily. I wanted a les expensive, solid wood electric, and this is it. Get one. 3500. Flame goes all the way through the top. Two pieces of maple. I have never heard of this from an import.
