As far as I'm aware it is MIK 2005.

22 frets, 2 volume, 1 tone, 3 way switch, HH, etc. (see other reviews for more information.

A few imperfections here and there (inlays mostly)

The electronics were a cheap as hell.

Sound : 10
First off I had the electronics replaced and put in EMGs (81/85). I had had the guitar set up twice professionaly and have set it up myelf.

I play a lot of different styles, but usually a lot more progessive metal and rock. Played through five amps (peavey rage, peavey ultra, line 6 ultra, fender (forgot model), mesa stilleto) and the guitar how it is right now is incredible. The sound is very warm and has a lot of lows and mids.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
After having everything done as stated above its perfect. I love it. Fastest guitar i have ever played and i love how it feels.

Reliability/Durability : 9
i installed some dunlop straplocks. everything is pretty durable, its been dinged here and there. Its built very solid and seems to be very durable.

Customer Support : 10
Rondo Music is great to deal with. If you have any problem they will take care of it.

Overall Rating : 10
I love the guitar, I may even pick up another.

Features : No Opinion
This is a follow-up review to the previous one; the featureset, therefore, is exactly the same.

Sound : 9
The replacement sounds better, due to the fact that both pickups were adjusted better from the factory. I brought it into a local music shop and the owner refused to believe I paid as little as I did.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action was just like the last one; there must be a standardization of that element of setup at the factory.

I will probably replace the nut, eventually, but everything else is top-knotch for the budget.

This one has a finish without any flaws at all - it's absolutely beautiful!

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Same as previous

Customer Support : 10
Upgraded this to 10/10; they paid shipping both ways to send me a new one, despite the fact that the only real flaws on the instrument were completely cosmetic (let's face it, everyone here ought to know how to adjust their pickups, and I am no exception).

Very punctual, too, and while Kurt can be a bit curt (aheh), he's not impolite and appears to genuinely care about the customer's satisfaction. I imagine he replies with as few words as possible due to the sheer volume of questions and comments he likely handles in a day.

Overall Rating : 10
This guitar has already sold a few Agiles from letting friends play it. The general consensus is that for the price, no one can afford to -not- own one.

Korean made in 2005, with 22 frets.

The construction is solid-body, set-in neck; maple on the neck, mahogany on the body, with a nicely fitted rosewood fretboard.

Electronics are fully featured enough, although I wouldn't mind individual tone controls instead of one master. Two humbucking pickups on this axe provide a surprisingly wide tonal range. The electronics are solid if a bit light-feeling. No hum or buzz from poor wiring, although for the price I highly doubt it's shielded.

It's "very similar" in body styling to ESP's "very similar to Explorer" model.

Tune-O-Matic style bridge with Grover die-cast tuners; good stuff, not the highest end around but for the price excellent.

Jumbo frets neck.

No accessories included.

Bottom line, probably about a 5/10 in terms of the possible features on ANY guitar for any wallet, but a 10/10 for the price. I'll give it an 8 to compromise.

Sound : 9
The guitar sounds amazing for its price; I've played an actual Gibson Explorer and while the Gibson sounds better, it's not enough to justify the extreme price difference!

I a/b'd this with an Epiphone, and while they were different (Epiphone Les Paul), I'd say the Agile is right up there with it, if not better.

You can coax a whole lot of different styles of play out of this thing, although it only looks right playing something hard due to the aggressive styling. Blues, Hard Rock, and pretty much any Metal style around - this can do anything that doesn't sound better with a single coil guitar.

I use a Peavey Special 212 II (solid state, but a damn good solid state) amplifier, and even with the stock pickups (which will likely eventually be replaced, though there's nothing wrong with them, just better pickups for more money), the range of sounds that you can get out of this guitar is amazing. Anything from a shimmery acoustic sound to a deep, dark, creeping sludge metal - the sound is superb for the price, and would sound good at any price.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
The setup from the factory was just like I like it; pickups were adjusted perfectly, action was nice and low but not buzzing, etc. 10/10 for the setup.

However, the guitar that I got came with a missed paint spot on one of the corners. It's obvious that someone at the factory overlooked it, because it's clear-coated over and everything. Because I'm a perfectionist in terms of gear condition, I've negotiated with Kurt to ship it back and get a replacement. For now, therefore, I give it 10/10 for action and fit, 5/10 for finish (even with the flaw, it's still beautiful, but the flaw kills the overall presentation).

I've seen another of these without the problem, and I can tell you that it's absolutely beautiful, but I'm not reviewing his, I'm reviewing mine.

I'll post another review of the new one when it gets in.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The guitar feels solid as a rock and the finish is thick (I can tell because of the un-painted spot, ironically enough). It'll stand up to use, for sure.

The set of the neck was perfect, straight as an arrow - everything mechanical about the guitar is absolutely amazing for the price, and ideal at any pric, honestly.

The strap buttons are the only strap buttons I've ever seen that I'd actually trust to use without locks. They're huge! It's an ordeal to get the strap on in the first place, but once it's on, it's not coming off by accident.

Stick some nice and heavy strings on it, and I'd feel confident using it without a backup (although that should never, ever be done).

Customer Support : 7
Well, they say they'll pay for shipping both ways to send me a replacement, so that's pretty impressive. I'll give them a tentative 7 out of 10 since I can't find a phone number and everything has to go through email and online, but to be honest they've been super fast with emails so it's not that big a deal.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for awhile now, and I've got a small collection of guitars. I love most of the things about this guitar; the style of it is superb, and it's beautiful (excepting mine's minor flaw). I wish it had an additional tuner, but the master does a good job.

If it were stolen or lost, I'd be on the web putting my order in within 24 hours.

One issue: it's neck heavy, so make sure to use a nice leather strap that'll grip your shoulder well or it might take a dive into the stage.

For $160, this can only be called a FANTASTIC VALUE!

This is a '05 model, the new Ghost after the old explorer copy was discontinued. This one is more in looks like the ESP's rather then the Gibsons. It's made in Korea, 22 frets, solid mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, m.o.p. inlays, 2 volume and 1 tone knob, 2 humbuckers (neck and bridge), 3-way switch. It's like this one:

For the price the specs are very impressive and I've seen nothing in that price range that even comes close.

Sound : 7
I play this thing through a Line 6 Spider II 212 150W. I like the humbucker, it's well suited for some heavy stuff, wich I intended to play with this guitar. I think the bridge humbucker is pretty decent, has some nice crunch and I'm surprised how well it sounds clean. I don't like the neck pickup though. It's way too muddy for my liking and I hardly ever use it. The bridge pickup is almost exclusively used, even for cleans. It's not very variable, but is well suited for metal and rock.

However, I do plan to upgrade it with Duncan JB for the neck and Duncan '59 for the bridge next summer.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I could see right away that this is a well built instrument. No flaws in the finish, it's a looker. The fretwork is very good, no sharp ends, feel nice. Action was just a little too high for me (but of course that is a matter of personal taste) and the intonation was just a little off, nothing serious that could't be fixed with simply adjusting the bridge. I like the neck. It's not very thin like many of the Ibanez necks, but not as chunky as SG's for example. so with just a little adjusting, this is a good player. Just one thing that bothers me, it's a bit neck-heavy and balances not so good when playing standing up. But that should be fixable by moving the strap buttons I guess.

Reliability/Durability : 9
It's well built and i see no reason not to play it live. As said before, the strap buttons might have to be moved to fix the balancing problem. Otherwise, it's pretty solid.

Customer Support : 10
Customer service is top notch! Nothing more to say about that, just excellent!

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for now a little over 2 years. I know that may not be very much, but I've played ALOT this time and I think I can say that I know what I'm talking about. This is a quality axe for the money. But don't get me wrong, there are better guitars out there, of course, but in this price range I think this is hard to beat (seems to apply with most agile guitars). Don't expect the quality of a $1000 from a $159, but you get what you pay for and then some! It compares pretty well to my friend's $400 Jackson.

If you're looking for the best "bang for the buck" guitar deal, check out the Agiles at rondomusic. They have excellent customer service, so if you don't like the guitar you can return it and get full refund. Nw go nuts!
