Features : 7
Ash laminate top with rounded, fiberglass body. Ovation style acoustic/electric, with a piezoelectric pup and three band EQ.

Sound : 8
Sounds pretty good in both acoustic and electric modes. A little weak at the lower end, but this is due to the shallow bodied configuration. Uppers come through just fine.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Pretty well made, with a nice, glossy finish on the top. Bit fo a gap between the neck and the body. Action is good. Tuners are a little flimsy and demand frequent attention when playing. Cheap, plastic rosette around the soundhole that was described as "inlaid" by the distributor, Rondo Music.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Time will tell. It's held together for the last three months.

Customer Support : 2
This guitar, like other products from Rondo Music, comes with no warranty. Supposedly, if you have a problem, they take their stuff back and send another, or give a refund. Maybe they do. Who knows? But some reviewers here have stated that that was NOT the case for them. They have a good reputation, but it's not really deserved. As long as you're buying an advertised item - giving them your hard earned - they're all helpful. But speaking from personal experience, if you have trouble with something, they become very disinterested in you.

Overall Rating : 4
Been playing for almost a year. I wanted an acoustic to go with the Gibson Flying V and the HRB200 seemed to fit the bill. It's certainly a decent guitar for the money, but Rondo spoke with a forked tongue when describing the rosette as "inlaid". For this reason and a couple other things, I don't think I'll be buying from them again. Email me for details.

i play in a church worship support team - i wanted a inexpensive (but quality) a/e guitar that could be played accoustically at times and amplified through the pa most of the time - very few accoustic electrics sound good amplied no matter what, so i was not expecting any thing great with this agile - yet it sounds as good as any accoustic electric i have ever heard when run through a line 6 pod and then into the pa - i leave the guitar preamp settings pretty much in the middle (boost the bass a little) and use the line 6 pod for tone control - works great - you can get mellow warm sounds or sharp electric sounds - does not seem noisy at all - it will feed back if you are not carefull at high volume - granted -the line 6 pod is helping this versatility but it is a set up that works well- accoustically and unamplified - the agile is quite loud for this style of instrument - projects well unamplified - but not as much bottom end as dedicated quality accoustics - but will get the job done - i am quite pleased just playing this guitar at home etc - kind of grows on you - thus i don't play my martins, etc much anymore - really good sound for very little money

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
this agile was set up at the factory with light gauge strings - very easy to play - but i like medium gauge strings so i switched to 13 to 56 set of phosphor bronze - doing this actually did not improve the sound and made action a little stiffer - i will probably switch back to light gauge - action from factory was fine - a little high at saddle and nut but ok - neck was acceptably straight - tuners seem to hold fine but i am going to switch them to gotahs anyway - finish perfect as far as i can see - two things i am concerned about - bridge had slight gap at back end - i don't think it will pull up but needs to be watched - also fit of neck into body joint could have been better - no big deal though for a guitar in this price range - i have seen worse flaws on guitars costing ten times as much -

Reliability/Durability : 9
i have been using this guitar for church playing and have had zero problems - every thing seems solid - time will tell but so far after a couple of months i see no problems of any kind -

Customer Support : 10
rondo music has always responded within a day on e mails - i am unsure of the warannty - i believe that rondo will take instruments back within 10 days - no questions asked - but don't quote me on this - no paperwork or warranty info was included with the guitar -

Overall Rating : 10
been playing for over 35 years - been in rock bands, church groups, etc. - i own ricks, fenders, epiphones, guild, dalelectro, dearmound, martins, alverez, crate amps, fender amps, peavy amps, vox amp - mostly inexpensive moderately priced stuff though - i like to buy inexpensive instruments and fix and refine them - this agile hrb-200 works great for me - i did not expect much for $160 but this guitar does as well or better than guitars costing several times its price - i did have a ovation celebrity a/e costing three times the price of this agile - the agile sounds better and is made every bit as well as the ovation - i have no experience with the expensive ovations-
i would replace this agile hrb-200 it if stolen - amazing value
