Features : 7
I bought this as a project guitar, i wanted to build my own custom guitar but I'm way to lazy. So, I bought this guitar to fix up, and customize. Here's the old set up:

Classic Les Paul Style body, Aims 22 fret neck (wide), 2 humbucker style no name brand pick-ups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, 3 way pick up selector switch, tan pick-up mounting rings, and no name brand tunin machines.

Now: Same body, Gibson pattle bord neck, gototh gold tuning machines, 2 Golden Age humbuckers, black mounting rings, a switch craft oup put jack, a gibson bridge, and a "les trem tremelo tail piece" and that's about it,
My rating for my new set up is a 9. For the old setup: 7

Sound : 10
I mainly play slide, rock, blues, Christian worship, and this guitar works for all. Especially slide, because it's so easy to adjust the action, it's really easy to use it for slide and normally. My main clean set up is: Bass;7 Mid;6 Treble;8, Gain;3, Chorus;5 Reverb; 3 and i use a Savage Beast amp head, for distortion: Bass; 8 Mid;3 Treble;9 Gain;6 compressor;5-9 Reverb;3 and i use a "Brit Classic" amp head. With my new pick-ups, the coppy sounds great for a coppy, i also added new tone and volume pots because the others were shortin out. The guitar can make many, many kinds of sound, from Jimi Hendrix, to Audio Slave, from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Nirvanna. Personally this is one of my favorite guitars.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
I bought this used, so i dont know the factory set up, but when i bought it, it was decent. The pick-ups were pritty close to the strings, a little too close if you ask me, but ok. The only flaws i could find were: The oridganal pick ups fed back a lot, the gold parts were dulled, the neck was dry and faded, the tunin machines were pieces of crap, they constantly rattled and were made of this green crap. Mostly this guitar was ok when I bought it, but now it's a lot better. My rating now is a 9, oridginally it was a 6.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I've used this guitar for some pritty large gigs, and it was great, well it is now, because of the new pick ups. The new hardware seems like it'll last, but the old stuff was crap. The finish is all chipped and worn on the back, but oh well, it's a historic now. I've never had the strap buttons brake and i can depend on it for almost everything. I havent yet had the chance to use it on a gig with out back up, but i probobly would.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I bought this guitar used, like i mentioned, but i do all my own repairs and it wasn't that hard, and i don't have the warranty info.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about 3 years, i own a bunch of guitars; a Gibson SG, an Ovation Decan 12, an Ovation E/A, a Epiphone G-1275 (doubble neck), a B.C. Rich warlock, a Fender Persicion Bass, a Fender fR-50, a Tackaminie classical, a Drifter Acu 12, and this Aims les paul coppy. If this guitar was stolen from me, i would castrate the thief with a dull, rusty, nail file. I would cut the skin away from his throat, and play the voilin on their vocal chords. I really love this guitar.
