Very suprised,Feels great fast neck and smooth frets,
for the money this is MUCHO-BANGO for the buck,
minor finish flaws, but you must look very close.
9-nothing is perfect

Feels solid, cheaper hardware, I might replace bridge, tail
and tuners. but I'll see what happens in a couple months.
finish seems good and long lasting.
very dependable, would play without a back-up.
though I never do..

Playing for 40 years and owned tons of stuff.
this guitar is a great deal.
I would definetly buy another.
Love the guitar, hate nothing(life's too short to hate)
ranks up there in playability to Gibson studio models
better in my opinion than Fender.
Wish it had a Bigsby, (might add).
Get this if you play Rock/Blues.
For $500 you can't go wrong! Tons of Value !!

Great sounding guitar. Sound falls somewhere between 3 PU les paul and 3 PU SG. Sounds like a 3 PU les paul with more punch and attitude. These stock pickups are actually very good. I had every intention on changing them because I always remove stock pickups, but I am actually going to leave these in. Think hot PAF, reminds me of 70's dimarzios. GREAT rock and classic rock guitar. Could even be cool for some country. Don't think I would use it for jazz though.

Made in China I believe, but nowadays the guitars coming from Asia are every bit as well constructed as the US in my opinion, just cheaper hardware in most cases.Very solidly built. Feels sturdy and tough. Taking off a couple points here cause there were some minor cosmetic flaws. At this price I can't really complain though. The flaws were merely cosmetic though, like a speck of paint on the aluminum disc. No structural flaws . One scratchy pot but all gutitars from asia have scratchy pots. If this were a $4000 guitar I would complain but for $700 t is to be expected and I can't really complain cause it is an awesome guitar. Setup was good out of the box, a few minor adjustments to my liking. Neck is awesome, not too fat, not to thin, just right! Nut was a little high but I prefer that on a new guitar cause then you can file to where you want it. Better than having one too low!

Have been playing many many many years ( a nice way of saying I am Old!) Have played the greco comparable model. All I can say is save yourself $3000 and buy one of these. This is every bit as good sounding and playing a guitar. Like I said before, other than a few minute finish flaws, I have NO complaints at all. I am in love with this guitar and I thank Alden guitars for making an affordablr alternative to the ridiculously priced Z guitars.
