2 necks, one vintage tint Nitro finish, one clear gloss poly finish, both one piece maple, seven and a half inch radious, 21 vintage width high frets, vintage C shape, Rosewood skunk stripe and 50's headstock shape drilled for vintage type tuners, truss rod adjustment at heel. No nut fitted, I added Tusq nuts to both.
Sound
:
No Opinion
No comparison as both necks went onto built from scratch projects, not replacements for other necks. The overall sound was what I was looking for from an alder body, maple neck, vintage pickups and a ash body, maple neck and vintage pickups respectively.

Finish was excellent on both necks, no finish faults, the wood used was of good quality and the fret job was excellent, no uneven frets, no sharp edges and all were nicely finished and polished. Didn't have to re dress any frets at set up. I like the feel of the neck profile used, a little fatter than modern thin Fender C shape, perhaps more of a U shape, but very comfortable even though I don't have long fingers. I've noticed less fatigue over long periods playing than with slimmer necks.
Reliability/Durability

No Opinion
Can't see any problems if I take care of these necks. They are solid and well made from good timber.

As good as any of the well known manufacturers and better than some. Would buy again in a minute. Can't fault the quality for the price and the attention to detail is right up there with the best and over almost 30 years I've used most of them.
