Maple provides that subtle snappy high end, which suits my playing style. It's a thin C shaped back which is modern and comfortable. The finish provides an extra layer of snappiness. I ordered this neck with high expectations but was surprised with even higher results
Action, Fit, & Finish

This neck is better than anything Fender has made in at least the last ten years. Period. It came finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, which everyone should know is THE guitar finish, straight as an arrow and strong as steel. It perfectly fits the Allparts Tele-body I bought seperately.
Truss rod is on the body-end like the old ones, but I'm pretty sure one setup will take and hold.

The finish will age and decay naturally over the 60+ years I plan on owning it and that's why I got nitrocellulose, so the wood can breathe and let its sound be heard.
This particular neck is maple with maple fretboard and I know it will last, bend and flex naturally but stay strong and true.
These are pretty much like the sought-after (now) Japanese guitars of the 80's. We all know how that turned out - overlooked then, unbelievable quality now.

Didn't need it. Don't know if they offer it. Bought it 3rd party.

Playing for 20 years.
I own a Nashville telecaster, 80's Japanese Stratocaster, 60's Japanese hollowbody, Danelectro 12-string, Epiphone Masterbilt acoustic, Fender blackface Deluxe Reverb, pedals...
I'd definitely buy another, they're cheap and trustworthy.
Quality, quality, quality
Better than any Fender neck I've played... except the 80's Jap Strat, but that has 20 years on this neck.
