I recently received the new Anderson Cobra with the new soapbar pickups, otherwise known as P-90's. My new Cobra special is an all mahogany body with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. I chose Anderson's new Desert Sunset finish. This color is awesome!!!! Frets are medium on Anderson's '62 rounback neck. Fat, yet comfortable. Included is a vintage chrome trem and a 3-way toggle switch.

This instrument has a very fat "bell-like tone". Vintage with a modern twist. These P-90's are quiet with very little hum. Played through a few Boogie products, this guitar captures frequencies that are pleasing and very useful.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The factory set-up is flawless. The best frets in the business. Ergomically, this guitars controls are placed invery comfortable locations. Finish is superb.
Reliability/Durability

I've used this guitar just in band practice thus far however, I know it will hold up against any playing conditions. I must comment on the Anderson guitar straps; these straps are so cool. Leather on the show surface with nylon on the flipside. Very comfortable and well made.
