12 STRING ACOUSTIC-20 Frets-Blond solid top, dark brown back/sides-SERIAL NUMBER 8903000097. No idea of price, given to me by a non-playing friend who got it as a gift. Heavy and solid. DREADNOUGHT BODY. MADE IN KOREA. No info on internet on this compnay as an instrument builder, seems to be some sort of electronics company. Looks great, sounds fine, keeps tune well.

I play mostly folk, Irish and Western, just for myself usually. This guitar is more bright sounding than rich/full, but responds to heavy strum and gives loud and full back-up strum.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The only flaw is that there is a piece of plastic missing between the two bass E strings at the top fret, but the strings do not touch anyway. The finish is 99% perfect, action is smooth, all strings evenly close to the fretboard. I have no idea of age, but speculate it was built in the early to mid 1990s. Has been in the case all that time except for brief use.

Can't opine about this since the guitar has rarely been played, but it feels solid and is quite heavy.

I have been able to find no information on Antares on the web. Have had no occasion to try to get it repaired. I found your site in trying to get info on Antares just out of curiosity.

Been playing since about 1960. I own a 1969 Gibson J-45 and a nylon string acoustic I bought in Granada, Spain in 1999. Have owned a Martin 12-string, a Framus 12-string and a Hummingbird, but many years ago, and a couple of other guitars. I like the Antares, sounds fine, price was right (free), but have not used it that much.
