The 7232 is a lefthanded Les Pa#l model. it made this year in vietnam!!! 22 frets, solid mahagony body, with a beautiful flame maple top, H/H pickup config. has an amazing abalone binding around body & headstock, and awesome abalone position markers. tune-o-matic bridge & grover tuners. its a 24.75 scale. the case has an amp built into it. thought i would have to replace the pickups, but was pleasantly surprised at how nice the pickups sound.

I've played metal, rock, blues, jazz, reggae, classical,in my more than 20 yrs of playing, gigging mostly in Manhatten & north Jersey. I use a Carvin Vai Legacy 100w 1/2 stack, using a Digitech GNX4 or Boss pedals. I was expecting to replace the stock pickups, but was pleasantly surprised by the sound, and am still using them. I use a Roland micro cube for practicing at home, and it sounds amazing thru that amp also. The only thing I can be critical about is the pickup switch, it's kinda loud. I've played Gibs@n Les Pa#ls, and this I like better.

Beautiful set-up from the factory, intonation spot on, the action is ideal, better than the Gibs@ns I've played. The flame maple top is bookmatched perfectly, this guitar looks like a work of art, with all the abalone body & headstock binding and abalone position inlays. The finish gives the flametop an almost 3D effect. To be critical, the only flaw I found (after playing it a few weeks)was a slight scratch on the neck binding where it joins the body,,, I could have also done that, since I've been playing it so much. Unreal in the value department,

This is a solidly made guitar that will last a lifetime of gigs. I would bring extra strings but a backup guitar for the gig is unnessacary.

I've been playing for over 20yrs, & own Fender Strat,Ibanez RG470 & Ibanez lawsuit strat, Yamaha AES620L, Yamaha Pacifica, Dean EVO Special Select,Dean Avalanche,Hamer Sunburst A/T, Yamaha classical & Ibanez acoustic, plus a Hamer 5 string bass, and Vantage bass. If stolen I would track em down like the dog they are and get it back, if not I would definitely replace it. I've compared it to the Gibs@ns' I used to play and it provides more bang for the buck, and in a blind test would probably still chose this over the Gibs@n based on the playability.
