Made for a UK distributer by the Ibanez company. This serial numberless thinline tele hails from the 72-73 period. A delicate thinline f hole is cut into a "sandwich" body of mahogany and ash. Guitar originally had a Humbucker at the neck position but this has been replaced by a superb EMG select single coil. The cloth wound bridge pickup may or not be original but it is an absolute peach!! Very worn reliced looking maple neck is as small as I've ever seen on a tele with a really light string tension making this a really fast and easy playing axe. Only drawback is position of the 3 way selector switch being in front of the volume control making accidental switching too simple!! Original perloid scratchplate replaced by a simialrly shaped brushed metal one. Looks killer on the chocolate brown glosssy finish. Generally in great nick for a 32 year old hard gigged guitar.

Will last another 30 years easily.......looking at the heavily marked fretboard..fretwire is surprisingly undented or worn!!!
