Made in 2003 in valencia, Spain
Solid Cedar top, laminated mahogany back and sides, mahohany finger board
Very simple looking in the classical style, the sounboard is a beautiful light cedar color. The back and sides are brown stained giving the guitar a pleasing appearance.
There are 12 frets and NO on board electronics
The guitar is extremely light

I am just a beginner. I started out with a steel string acoustic only to find that my fingers are way too fat to play guitars with narrow widths. I also wanted to learn how to play fingerstyle instead of merely strumming along sitting by a campfire. I took a chance on this and have not been disappointed.
The sound is extremely warm and expressive. I find that I pick up this guitar more often than the steel string because of the warm tones. The sound is not bassy but sounds very balance across the tonal spectrum. I have heard that cedar lends to a bright sound, but I'm not hearing it with this guitar. I think this guitar will sound great recorded. I am in the process of having a pick up installed professionally so that my wife can use it for her school plays on stage. If you're looking for a warm sounding instrument that won't wreck your pocketbook this may be an option for you
Action, Fit, & Finish

The guitar looks good and there are no blemishes on it. It is very clean inside which means the luthier took his time to assemble it without getting extra glue or wood bits all over the place.
I don't know much about action, but it's easy to play with absolutely NO fret buzz from the metal strings. I am looking into replacing the strings to see if that makes a difference in the sound. I will be switching to Thomastic-Infeld Classic S-series just for kicks.
Reliability/Durability

It is very light and needs to be treated with kid gloves. It's not a campfire guitar but would probably do well in smaller venues (if you perform). Since this is the first ever review of an Aparicio guitar on this site I will leave the more detailed to other, more knowledegable, reviewers.

A great beginner guitar with wonderful, warm sound and easy playability. At this price you can afford to try one out. This is the low end of the manufacturers line. I would think the other, higher end, models are even better.
