playin 25 yrs, these Arbors are great guitars for the money but you'll want to change a few things and experiment, great low cost guitars for experimenting, fav feature - very light, easy on the shoulder! Best $100 guitar I ever bought brand new! Plays like a $500 one...

Probably China, circa 2000's. 24 frets, s/s/h pickups, basswood body, flamed top seems to be about 2 mm thick and is nicely blended and finished. Strat style trem, nato bolt-on neck. pull out coil tap. non locking tuners

Sound : 7
I reccomend 10 gauge strings or higher. The single coils are smooth and fairly hot. The humbucker is probably the weakest point of this guitar. I replaced it with a PAF

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The fingerboard and fretwork are excellent on my copy. Nice dense grained rosewood. The nut looks a little cheap but was set up nicely. The finish is much nicer than what you would expect for this price. The back of the headstock is a little crude looking, but no big deal.

Reliability/Durability : 8
The knobs are all solid. the jack requires periodic tightening which is a little annoying. Everything else about the construction is fine.

As far as volume and tone character this thing can not stand up to my SG of course, but I find I play it more often because the fretwork is so fast and comfortable. For about 150 dollars you really can't lose. A perfect backup or road guitar

I don't know what year, or where it was made. It's a solid basswood body, double cutaway, flamed maple top with the transparent purple
finish, nato bolt on neck with rosewood finger board. I had been looking for a good starter giutar and saw it, tried it out decided I liked it(I also liked the price), so I baught it.It's got 24 frets, 1 volume, 1 pushin-pullout tone (that splits the humbucker), s/s/h pickups, 5-way switch, gold plated tuning machines and bridge(strat style), with a moderatly thick neck. Absolutely beautiful.

Sound : 9
I play mostly hard rock, Pillar, P.O.D.,Skillet,Evanescense, etc... which suits it pretty well, it doesn't have quite the beefey chunky sound that I like to use, but its really easy to play. It's not very noisey, has prettygood sustain. I really like the way it looks and plays.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
It was set up pretty well, action is pretty smooth.there was one place on the head that the finish didn't come quite to the edge but its not very noticeable.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Iv'e used it live a little bit. It's held up really well. the strap buttons are fairly secure I havn't had any problems with them. it's pretty dependeble and i've never had a backup to use.

I've been playing for about a year, the amp I baught with it is a behringer gx110 a great little 30watt 10inch speaker with 99 preset effects and a lot of little perks, but it's a little to small for what I do so I'me gonna sell it and buy the gmx212 a duel 12inch with every thing the other one has and a heck of a lot more.if the guitar were stolen I would deffinetly buy another one
