21 fret, 4 string, solid body bass guitar. One volume control per pickup. (two jass style pick-ups) One master tone. The body is a fender precision bass type look, but it's all jass bass sound. A beautiful Emerald sunburst (green explosion into black). anchored bridge. full scaled

Sound : 4
A little too jazzy for my sound. A nice Hofner or Fender Deluxe Precision bass would be better for me. I use a 40 watt Leem amp. I need a TNT 115BW. It's too noisy and metallic with the tone open. Just doesn't fit the vintage, wround sound I need.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Action is great. Pick-ups are fine. There's one dent in the finish....barely noticeable. Volume pots need changing. The jack is slightly too large and the cord falls out easily. (once in the middle of a gig....damn) Intonation is still good after numerous years. How is that possible?

Reliability/Durability : 7
The crackley pots and loose jack are the only problems. Nice, solid finish. Intonation mysteriously perfect after 3 years. No guitar should be used without backup. Oh yeah...one BIG problem... the bridge pops strings easily. Yep...bass strings. every other gig I lose one and have to switch to my back-up Squier P-bass.

Overall Rating : 6
Put it this way: I want...nay, NEED that Hofner.

21 frets, Bolt-on neck. The Best finish I've ever seen...Emerald sunburst! 3 controls: Neck pick-up volume, bridge pick-up volume, tone. Maple body, rosewood fretboard. Strat style cutaway. Great fit of the neck...fits my hands well. Would be better with a thumb rest. Not too many features, but basic is better for me.

Sound : 9
Fit's the 60's/Early 70's well. Gunna get myself a chorus to use with it. I plug on up to a Leem BA-1240. It's alittle noisy but notin' I can't handle. Great sound from Synth-y to Stand-up in seconds. Sounds good to me.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Actions good. Great pick-ups. I say again the finish is best out of my 7 basses . I love it...Emerald sun-burst.

Reliability/Durability : 9
My brother slammed it up against the wall 3..maybe 4 times... Nothing wrong. Great finish It's still there. Strap butons there to stay. If I didn't have my Hofner I'd thinck about useing it back-upless

Overall Rating : 10
Well I love the color of this Bass, but my Paul McCartney Hofner Violin Bass Re-issue tops 'em all. I reccomend this guitar to the people with out 2500 dollars. For 200...it's worth it.
