I believe it is made in Korea somewhere within 1988-1991. It is hard to find information on 'em. The guitar is a strat style with a wide thin maple neck with 22 frets(heavy gloss finish on neck which can feel kinda sticky). The pickups are passive(have black covers which look like active) with a H-S-S setup, 1 vol., 1 tone, and 5 way switch. The body wood is light and is made of plywood but dont let that discourage you from playing this guitar. This guitar has an amazing(crackle style) finish. The bridge is traditional which is a huge disappointment because this guitar really deserves a floyd rose.

I love 80's metal so this guitar fits my style (downside is no locking trem). The guitar has a nice sound even if it is made of plywood. The pickups I believe is stock even though I have not checked them. The pickups sound great and the humbucker has a great distortion tone. The neck and middle pickups sound really good when played clean. Don't let the body wood scare you into thinking this guitar sounds awful because it doesn't. I have always believed that the pickups and hardware make a bigger difference in sound than the wood on this type guitar...so play and try one out. If the price and condition fits then I think this guitar is definitely worth it.

The guitar was not setup well when I got it but after some adjusting I got it playing nice. The two single coils are not adjustable but fit alright. The finish is amazing. It is definitely an eye catcher. It looks kinda like a crackle finish except completely smooth. The colors fade from a blue-purple to a pink to a yellow-orange, then there are black lines that are like cracks all over.

So far this guitar sounds great and very clean with no hum. The tuners are aria brand so i do not know how good of quality they are, but my guitar stays in tune fairly well. The knobs and electronics are tight with no play in them. I do not play live but I would not be worried to take this in front of a crowd. Plays nice...looks great...sounds fine... and is light....so not many complaints.

I have been playing around 5 years or more. I would definitely look for another one if mine was lost/stolen. I love the wide thin maple fretboard neck. I love the pickups(not a 100% sure they are stock) especially since I don't have to spend extra money for replacing useless pickups. Being that it is a 80's import pointy head axe, I compared it to my charvel model series guitar(which is my baby)and it plays great. After I got it adjusted I love playing this guitar.....the only thing is I may have to install a trem on her.

I believe, from what I've read that, this guitar was made in the late 80's early 90's. 22 frets, maple fretboard and bolt on maple neck. body is lightweght wood, not sure what kind, I can't seem to find any specs for these guitars. Lightweight, strat style body with a funky eddie van halen looking paint job, 5 way pickup selecter with 1 volume and 1 tone knob. Strat style bridge and aria pro tuners. I love the one tone knob, I think it is very versatile. Oh and it has a humbucker in the bridge and single coils in the neck and middle.

I don't really have a way of defining my style. Considering the look and feel of this guitar and the year it was made (late eighties-early nineties), I believe it was made to compete with Jackson's and the like. I use a Laney AOR combo and a crate gx130c combo. Pickups are probably stock as is everything else and I think they sound great compared to the humbuckers in my bc rich ironbird. lots of different sounds with that tone knob and 5way selecter. i may or may not put in some higher end pickups but they are great for right now. not noisy with hum or feedback. i dont like the fact that this guitar doesnt have springs for the neck and middle pickup, instead, it just sits on this foam crap, but it is stable. bride overdrives very well and the pickups are very versatile all in all.

I had it set up by the man who i traded my tacoma and bc rich to for this guitar. Like i said before, this guitar has a killer paintjob that startrs out with a purple and then fades from pink to yellow to orange with crazy black stripes all over it. its the only paintjob ive seen these guitars with. intonation and action needed adusting only for personal tastes. A couple of frets were worn down and i plan on having this guitar refreted anyway.

Like i said, this guitar is probably about 15 years old, and it still smokes. I do believe the hardware is ok, a 4 or 5 on a scale of 10. I plan on replacing the tuners maybe, refretting and possibly new pickups. and i may get a floyd rose for it just because this guitar deserves a floyd rose. it is very dependable, tunig i a little unstable but the electronics are great, no shitty solders or anything like that.

I got tired of my ironbird so i decided to trade it and a tacoma dm10 that is the most beautiful guitar ive ever played but i hated playing both of these so i got a guitar i liked to play. I will get another one of these so if anything happens to my first one, ill have a backup. i love the lightweight body and the fast maple neck, i love my axe! i pickup and play any guitar i can get my hands on and i still havent found anything that makes me feel like this guitar does. I do believe these were supposed to be beginer guitars but i love it and i love all the other aria pros ive played. i do like this one better thanthe new aria pro lespaul copy i played and it was an 800 dollar guitar! this guitar was meant for me and i highly recommend playing one if you have the chance.
