Think it is US made. Purchased in Australia. Strat set-up with three single coil p-ups, two tone controls, volume, five way selector etc. Maple neck. Black finish and white pickguard/scratch plate. Came with gig bag.

I've had this guitar since 1996 when I bought it as a back-up guitar to take on tour (in case I busted a string etc). I've since toured it around Australia, the US etc. It's a well travelled guitar.
It's great value for money for the sound. It's very much a strat-style sound, though not the same calibre. I've used it sparingly in the studio on rcordings - I have better guitars for studio stuff - but live it's fine for me as a fall-back.
I play roots-rock but I've used it for rock, hard rock, country etc. It has the Strat's versatility but it just isn't as sweet in some spots.
All the pick up selections have their own character - a little different in response from the Strat. I guess if you changed the pickups you could get a better sound because the wood on mine is really nice with great resonance.

The guitar I bought new and it was pretty much ready to go. I set the intonation and the action and have been happy with it since.
I really like the way the jack input points up (you can tuck it straight under your strap) and the way the scratch plate is a different shape to the Strat style, becasue this guitar is not just 'another' Strat copy. It has it's own character.
Main problem from a finish point of view was that the tuning nuts can lift out (the bit that you wind the string on to) but this only happens when there's no tension on the string - only an issue when changing strings - but I guess you could pap some schallers on there if it was an issue

I'm selling this guitar because I've got a bunch of others and I want to buy another acoustic. It's a good guitar, reliable, has fulfilled the purpose of why I bought it in the first place. If you are looking for a reliable guitar, this model is likely to be some great value for money.

i don't know what year it was made or what country it seems very cheap so i suspect korea...22 fret 3 single coiled strat very light weight and easy to play very worn in feeling...the finish is a very cheap looking sunburst wich looks good with the odd shaped dirty white pick guard and maple fret board...it's just a cheap trem guitar with cheap tuners i'll need to replace...it's got a very thin surprisingly fast neck i really like the feel of...the pick ups suck -1 the tuners need to be replaced-1 the frets need to be filed-1 and it could use a better nut -i

it has a good brite punchy kinda grinding sound i really like that i was really able to accentuate by putting a duncan jb junior in the bridge it has a really awesome iron maiden meets the exploited kind of sound i play a kind of metal punk fusion that can best be discribed as holy hell and this is my new favorite the moment so for my purposes i give it high marks in this catagory

I don't knopw what year it was made in, my estimate is 1996-1998, 22 fret strat copy with S/S/H pickup configuration. 5 way switch with a splitter for the humbucker. For this price, you will find no better buy! I use it as a drop D guitar and a spare for my Fender strat. The tuners are are gotoh and hold well for their class. Just your average tremolo system, nothing too special.

Versatility MAX!!!! This was the only guitar I owned for 4 years straight and satisfied every different musical phase i went through. The Beatles, Then red hot chilli peppers, Blink 182....It slays them all! The thing I like most about the sound is it will sort of mould to whatever your amp settup is. So on it's own, it isn't really distinctive. I personally think that it's strength lies in the driven department. The middle single coil is harsh if not set up exactly right.

All the other reviewers have said thatt this guitar is pretty weak in this department, but I had a pro set it up when I first got it so any setup problems it once has are now long dead. But this is also related to the fact that over the years I have worn it in a fair bit so it has lost the trademark low price cardbord-necked texture. So thhis good news for all you people with sweaty hands!

I have taken good care of my Aria and thus have had no troubles so far. As I said before this is a very stable guitar so the only reason you would need spare on stage would be due to the busting of strings.
Strap knob buttons are a bit of an issue.

I've had this guitar for about 4 years now. It has served it's purpose. It has 22 frets and a three single coil pickup configuration. 5 way switch. Two tone and one volume knobs. Its a strat style body with larger cutaways and a very thin neck(very fast).Nice setup for the price. Spot for a tremelo arm but i wouldn't recomend it.

I like to play everything from reggae to metal and it works for all of it. I play it through my DOD death metal distortion into my peavy rage 158 studio amp, and it sounds awsome for any alternative rock or classic rock. All i do is crank the volume, turn down the tone, and use the neck position pickup. It sounds great to me. When i play it through my sunn concert lead 100w head and marshall cabs the tone could bring down my house. Loud is good with this guitar.

The factory setup was sloppy but with a little tweaking i had it sounding great. The neck connection was loose when i first got it but i cranked on the bolts and haven't had problems with that since. I also replaced the tuning keys because i learned that they were made of plastic. Bad idea.

Used in a variety of different music styles, it has worked well especially for clean tones. Does have a tendency to feed back when distorted but than can be remedied with pedal distortion as opposed to my Marshall valvestate amp distortion. Sound seems to change on a gradual basis, sometimes for worse, sometimes better, currently it emulates clapton's "woman tone" quite well however...

My Aria Pro II was made in Japan. It's a 22 fret, maple neck solid-top guitar with a double cut slightly more defined than ur usual strat. It came with a volume and tone knob, a 5 way selector and a coil switch for the humbucker. I don't know what the make or the models of the pickups are, but they are in a S/S/H configuration. Like i said, it's got a maple neck which is quite thin but comfortable and everyone that plays it comments on the brilliant neck. The tuners are non-locking and the bridge is a standard Strat bridge with a input for the tremelo bar.

I play mostly hard rock, predominantly stuff from 1985-1992 but i also play some older stuff like aerosmith, van halen n zeppelin, as well as newer stuff like 3rd eye blind, collective soul and limp bizkit. It's the only guitar i've owned and i've had it for 4 years and it suits most of the stuff i play, most of the guitarists i'm into (slash, mick mars, snake sabo, joey allen, reb beach) use gibsons and ibanez, but I honestly think Fender style guitars will get you that sound better, cuz the fullerton is obviously a lot closer to the fender sound than the gibson sound, if u want the gibson sound and feel, don't even look at this guitar. At the moment i'm using a shitty crate amp and i've been using the guitar with it for 3 yrs now and it's been great for clean sounds. I also managed to rack up some boss pedals over the yrs (not my favourite pedals but i got a good deal) and so now i use the following setup:
Guitar-Boss PSM 5 power supply-Boss FW3 Wah-Boss CS3 Compression Sustainer- Boss BF2 Flanger-Boss CE3 Chorus- Boss SD1 Overdrive-Boss HM2 Heavy Metal- DanElectro Daddy-O Overdrive-Boss DD2 Delay-Amp. Pretty elaborate setup but it's gotten me the sound i want, although i have to agree with the majority of people, unless u have a real good distortion, u're screwed cuz this guitar just makes too much unwatned noise with distortion, I recommend either a good pedal or really, really soundless pickups.
Also, I use this guitar for some jazz songs n if u roll the tone back to bout 6 n use either the middle or the neck pickup, u get a pretty sweet sound. All in all, this guitar is great for a clean sound and a more rhythm sound, although it's great neck and feel makes leadwork a breeze.

The pickups and the set-up aren't that great. If u have the money, i'd suggest gettin this guitar and fixing it up a little cuz if u brought the pickups down a little and did a few little other personal things, this could be a great guitar. Apart from that, it's pretty good. The action is nice and the finish is a nice black outline that fades into a darkish patchy green.

I've had this guitar for over 4 yrs and in the last 3 yrs i've really been playing it a lot and taking it around and nothing has happened. However, within the first 6 months that i bought it, the input jack started gettin quite loose and so did the strap pegs. Also, to my amazement, the coil switch for the HB kinda fell back into the guitar n i can't get it out without opening up the guitar and i'm not interested in doing that. Apart from that, the guitar has held up fine, i play live without a back-up and i've never had a problem and neitehr would u unless u seriously mis-used it.

All in all, I think this is a great guitar, especially for beginners, it will get you most sounds you want and I personally really like it compared to other guitars in its price range. OFcourse, if u're lookin at gibsons n fender over $4000 then obviously skip past this guitar but if u're looking for a cheap, durable quality guitar either to start off with or as an extra guitar, this guitar will suit you. If it were stolen i'd be damn dissapointed cuz i wouldn't find a guitar as good and as cheap as this anytime soon, but i doubt i'd get another 1, i'd look elsewhere. I'm about to buy the marhsall avt150 and i tried my guitar out with it and it's a great, great sound so like i said, u need a good amp n a good pedal n this guitar will sound very, very cool.

I have found this particular Guitar's sound to be just as versatile as my playing style. I tend to play a bit of many styles; hard rock, hevay metal, ska, punk, country, blues, funk, and jazz. Although finding the right sound for all of these with this guitar may be very time consuming, with a lot patience and a little luck, These sounds can come through. I also have found that has a suprisingly rich, mellow sound similar to an acoustic when played clean and open(V-4, T-10, mid/neck pickups).
There are times when looking for a certain sound, I haven't been able to find it, although have found it before. There is way too much feedback when heavily distorted(I am currently using a little Marshall G15R CD), and this feedback is similar to mike feedback. the only other downfall is that the pickups tend to make more noise than expected. all in all, this guitar comes out above average when it comes to sound.

Since this particular guitar was a gift to me from another musician, I am uncertain to whether or not the setup was the same as it was at the factory. the Pickups on the one I have were a bit too high for my tastes, so I lowered them, which wasn't too much of a problem. when I did this however, a found that the top was bookmatched sloppy. very sloppy. the bridge, on the other hand, was fitted very well. all other aspect of the craftmanship of this gutiar are well above averge. the only problems I have are with the lead jack, which is attatched well on the inside, but the fitting on the outside needs to be tightened often. this doesn't seem to have any ill effect on the guitar. the other proble I have is with the tuning pegs, in which their jackets aren't attached very well, and have a tendancy to pop up, allowing the pegs to lean foward under the tension of the strings. With all this said, this is a very well built guitar.

My guitar is a 1997 model (FL-20). I really don't know where it was made, but it was a cheap guitar. 22-fret roswwood fingerboard and maple neck. S-S-H with a 5-way switch and coil tap toggle switch. Alder body (i think) and body shape ala "Strat", although the neck joint has been inproved. Standard vintage tremolo. It's a cheaper and slightly improved "Strat".

Wel... this is really the week point of my guitar... I don't know if it's the pick-up's problem or if it's the guitar's problem. It feedbacks too much on heavy distortion (that kind of mike feedback). On clean sound, it's rally good. Almost as good as a standard "Strat". As with any single-coil guitar, it hums... but it's 7 combination of pick-ups are really versatile.

At first I thought this guitar sounded awful, I adjusted the pickups, different guage strings, different string types!! I still couldn't get a respectable tone. Then I realized the problem, I was running it into one of the worst amplifiers ever made..(A Crate GX-15R) I decided to go searching for a better amp. I left the store with a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. All I can say is WOW! I've gone from hating the guitar to completely loving it. You wouldn't believe the difference that tube amp had over my Crate solid state. I really love this guitar now. If you've ever wanted a great blues combo, go with this. However, if you're into metal, or really hard rock. The guitar flourished with distortion turned up all the way on the Crate. It doesn't sound like the Fender Strat (because it's not) but it's not worse or better..just different. But I really like the sound I get out of it. Roll back the tone to around 4 or 5 and I can get a great clean jazz tone.

As I picked it off the shelf for the very first time it was very easy to play. The pickups were a little high for my tastes, I lowered them a bit, and they sounded much better. Plus the input jacks come loose easily, but the cord will still stay in easily, and not short out at all.

The guitar is a great beginner. It will play very clean if you want it to.Personally I love it for just about anything.(Metal,Rock, chords)However I have grown to enjoying it much more after buying an effect pedal for it (the ZOOM 505)The 30 watt Crate amp just wasn't enough as far as disstortion went until i used this pedal. The guitar has it's good and bad moments with different effects.Usually the selector switch is all you need to move.If that doesn't work try adjusting the tone controls.By itself it has an almost acoustic sound to it as long as it's in perfect tune.It seems that it's a very versitile guitar when an effect pedal is used but besides that it's rather basic.Likes:Very nice clean sound.Dislikes:When using amp distortion options you tend to get a hum after you stop playing.

The guitar was set-up very well.Obiously made for someone just starting out.Based on it's very solid construction. The action was very good right off the wall, but you may want to adjust to your own preference. The pick-ups needed a little bit of adjusting but were still fine the way they were.Bridge was a problem.messed things up.I had it replaced a few days after i got it.From that time up till about a year and a half later I had no problems with it until some wires for my selector switch went bad.I began loosing channels.I was an easy fix until you had to put the pick-ups back in the guitar. The overall finish of the guitar, very nice mine is black. But it's very succeptable to scratches. They show up very easily so be careful.

This guitar is made like a sherman. You can't hurt it if ya tried...well ya could but it's not easy. It's very durable and a solid piece if work.Live playing? No problem. There aren't many wearable parts in the guitar but i've only come across one frequent problem that isn't so bad.The plug jack needs attention every once in a while.Just a little tightening thats all.The finish on my guitar is very nice.It seems that it is rather durable, but because of it's black color scratches are more visible. The strap buttons are ok they need tightening once every few moths but thats not a problem. It's a very dependable guitar. It's not perfect but I wouldn't be concerned playing on stage with it.I don't care what kind of guitar you have ALWAYS have a back up.But if you were to not have one I would feel safer using this one.I've had it for 2 years and i've only broken one string while playing. And I play it hard.

I started playing guitar about 2 and a half years ago. This was and is my first guitar.I use the ZOOM 505 effect pedal with it.Great results.I wouldn't have asked the quesion i'm thinking of now because I probably would have ended up paying more for it.If I lost this guitar i'd definetely be in the market for another one.It may be a difficult task due to it being dis-continued a few years ago,but i'd but it again thats for sure.I love how I can beat on the guitar a little bit and not worry about screwing the damn thing up.There is only one thing I hate about it.I hate the hum I get when using my amp's distortion, but my pedal has gotton me around that problem. My favorite feature is the neck size,it seems to be just a tad bit smaller than other guitars of it's kind making play a bit easier.I really can't compare it with other guitars mainly because this is the only one i've owned but also because I don't know of a guitar this durable.I just wish it came with a nice humbucker.

I have been unable to determine the year, alothough I haven't really looked into it extensively. It was made int he USA, and it has 22 frets. The Pick-up config is S/S/H, the pickups from the what I have gathered information wise on the internet are Ducan pickups. It has a 5-way rocker switch, tone, and volume knobs, and a rocker-switch for the HB. It has a maple neck, rosewood fretboard, and an alder body. It has a semi-transparent DEEP blue finsh (personally I think its a beautiful finish). Its a strat style body, but seems a little smaller. A second tone would be nice. Came with a gig bag.
Sound

Sound is good. I play punk/ska-core and the HB sounds great. The singles give kinda a flat sound, flater than a single on a fender strat, the HB makes up for it. The HB gives it a bright sound, where as the singles, give it a more full sound. You can get a goor variety of sounds from it though. I play it through a cheap Ibanez Thrashmetal pedal (just replaced with a Danelectro Fab-tone) and a peavey Renown 2x12 235watt amp, or a fender champion 110. The fender gives a better tone, softer, where as the peavey strictly amplifies. Both are solid states, and I have played it through a couple tubes, which made a big difference, but the peavey with the fab-tone and the HB sounds pretty damn good. The HB offers a much longer sustained sound.

Action was very nice. I can honestly say after playing several fenders, that I like the feel of playing my aria better. It seems to have a thinner neck than other guitars I've played and its a pleasure to play. Not a spot of rust, and the finish was perfect when I got, even had the wrap on the pick-guard.

I've played t for 6 months, and nothings happened =-) MUST be built pretty good. In fact this thing is a wooden tank. Everything is rock solid on this! The only thing, which is really not a big deal is that every 3-4 months, the jack seems to get a little loose, but thats trivial as long as you know to check it every once and a while

I think it is a very good value, although from what I have found, I got a very good deal... the guitar supposedly is listed at $840, I knkow you can buy it new at www.woodysmsuic.com for around $650 new. It KILLS any fender squire, and from what I've played its right up there with the US and Mex strats... Like I said before, a second tone would be nice, but I'd buy it again in a minute

I have no idea what year it was made in nor where it was made, for I bought it used. Has a volume a tone control knob, as well as a 5-way selector. It uses a S/S/H pickup configuration, which may not be stock. It a strat body style with non-locking tuners. No other accessories were included, for it was used.

Has kinda of an empty sound which is kind of a drawback for the sound I want, which is a thick heavy sound akin to sepultura/pantera... I am using it with a Crate 15 watt solid state amp (have used it which a few others, and it retains the empty sound).

Seems like a pretty sturdy guitar, but you pay the sturdiness with a hefty weight.... does seem to "settle" sometimes and I can hear it creek.. Paint seems somewhat brittle though...

This thing is a tank... I could probably play baseball with this and it wouldn't break... If it made the sound I like, I could see myself gigging with it....

I've been playing for about 6 months and this is not that bad for a beginner guitar, but as I am wising up, I realize I got screwed.. I would probably not buy it again, but I will probably use it until I see fit to buy a new guitar...
