Very versatile. You can play rock/metal/punk/blues/jazz/funk/country and it will give a good sound. Not unbelievable jaw dropping but a convincing sound. An Ibanez RG for example will give you a bit more bite and beef for searing leads but this guitar is excellent value for money and a great all rounder

Looks fantastic, and he finish is VERY durable. the only times the finish has been damaged was by staples on sheets in the guitar bag (d'oh!) I've dropped the guitar quite a few times and it didnt dent the finish. this is the most durable finish I've ever had on a guitar.
I got this second hand and the guy took very good care of it so no complaints there

This was my first 'real' guitar and is superb value for money. I got mine second hand but was practically new condition. It easily ranks up there with lower level Ibanez's and whilst it doesnt quite have the same bite it still works very well for rock stuff and is a very versatile guitar. The neck is nicely rounded and could quite easily be used for jazz aswell as shredding

Let me go easy on this... I'm not good at this!
The guitar is Made in Korea and I found no SerialNumber on it.It's solid blue and a Jackson-style. It has 24 frets, with 5-position selector for its S/S/H picks (don't ask me for brands)! 1 Vol/1Ton pots and a tremelo... again, I got no clue. It actually did not come with the tremolo arm - I had to get it in a music store here in Rio de Janeiro - I got a generic one... it fitted! I thing the tremolo coiuld be better!
Wish I could help more...

Ok. I am NOT a musician, but after almost 20yr I decided to get a guitar as hobbie and play along to enjoy myself! I got the guitar May2006.
Basic style is ROCK and my set "now" is rather simple. My AMP (don't laugh) is a Marshall 10W ( Yes TEN! Hey! I live in a small apartment and I got neighbors). I got a Zoom 505-II pedal. It's simple and can be setup for different sound. I'm planning to get some handmade, parts on their way!

I had to replace the strings - they were rusty - what gave me confidence to imagine that the parts were original... to undo the tremelo the string would not be there. I was going through some reading yesterday and I decided to open the back of the guitar and had some oil on the strings that hold the tremolo. I think all parts were ok. The only thing I notice was the vol/ton pot caps switched. The VOL was coming out so I put something to keep it tighter.
The bridge has one piece that the cromo finish started to peel off, but I figured - this guitar is about 20yr now and cannot ask that much!
I'm not sure if it's me or the way the guitar has been store, but it's coming out of tune that could be due to recently new string, not much use, and drastic change in temperature (here in Rio winter now temp is going from 13?C (60F) to 34?C (93F)
It's a second had guitar (or might be even third).

Gee... as I said.. this guitar sould be about 20yrs now and it's still playing... if it survived that much should be good! It has some marks on the headstock and the arm as it has been hit or fallen.
Someone has got a pen mark behind the arm where the neck connects to the body. The strap button is strong and the wiring inside seems to be original.
I'm ease to please! Hope I enjoy the sound of it for as long as I live!

I used to play for fun but I stopped almost 20yrs! I had and old Brazilian guitar (Gianinni) which as a copy of a Strato with 2 picks that I believe were single (despite of being big).
I'm enjoying the guitar, but I would not die for it! The only thing in my mind it replacing the tremolo, but that can wait! The real need now is some pedals!
And for price I've paid for it... US$125.00 I believe was worth it, specially in Brazil where imported stuff usually is 2x the price from foreign locations!

My Aria was bought second hand from a Cash Generator in Perth, Scotland! (a bargain at #120 I feel... :p)
Lovely dark red finish, chrome hardware, full two octave bolt-on maple neck, nice feeling dark rosewood fretboard, Floyd Rose copy bridge, H-S-S pickup configuration, 5-way switch. Single volume and tone control pots.

This axe kicks! As it was bought second hand I wasn't at all impressed with the set-up or action... you could have played slide on it! Then again, the plastic covers were still on the pickups, truss cover and backplates so my guess is that it was an unwanted/unplayed present. I was immediately impressed by the pickups, especially the humbucker in the bridge - lots of twang and clarity, even under a truckload of distortion! All three are branded with 'Aria Pro II' on their black covers.
In case it's helpful in any way, here's my set-up for the Aria.
Aria Pro II Magna Series --> Boss Compressor/Limiter --> Jim Dunlop CryBaby --> Marshall Jackhammer (set to crunch overdrive) --> Boss Tremolo --> Marshall MG250DFX
(FX LOOP EFFECTS) DOD Icebox Chorus --> AXL Flanger --> Digitech DigiDelay --> Amp
Through this stupidly combined load of pedals the humbucker somehow manages to cut through with loads of clarity - when played through the Jackhammer and the amp's overdrive with a bit of chorus it's spot-on for playing Type O Negative (which I play a helluva lot of :D). Also the single coils are not to be sniffed at, with the middle providing a great 'compressed' kind of tone, which when played with no effects and no additional EQ sounds almost acoustic. Very useful! The neck pickup is a great sounding unit, adds a really warm nasal quality to lead lines... I also use this axe for a lot of Pink Floyd now and again :D
When combined with the Floyd Rose (which is a pretty solid bit of kit itself) it makes the Kenny Hickey wailing walls of feedback that bit more attainable without forking out for a Fernandes Sustainer!
This guitar sounds incredible for the buttons I paid for it, and the pickups are the most versatile I've ever come across (I also own a white Custom Les Paul and an EMG equipped homemade Explorer amongst others).
Action, Fit, & Finish

When I bought it the strings were so high you'd need a cello bow to play it with, also the Floyd Rose was in desperate need of a set-up. Aside from that, the guitar was flawless - the tuners moved perfectly and kept tune until the locking nut was clamped back on. Once set up the Floyd Rose is a very solid unit, and never slips up! I have mine set up so it'll go right down and a wee bit up as well and it sounds amazingly smooth. The finish (despite the guitar being second hand) was flawless, very hard wearing. I was frankly amazed with the condition this guitar was being sold in! :) lucky me...
Reliability/Durability
:

Well I've never intentionally dropped the guitar just to see but I reckon the finish is a really hard wearing one. There wasn't a mark on it when I got it and now it only has a few tiny belt marks on the backplate (which can be replaced anyway). The stock strap buttons were solid enough and I actually had a job getting them off to replace them with Schaller locks... maybe I should have left them :D
I can definitely rely on this guitar to stay in tune. I would probably take a backup guitar to a gig just to be on the safe side, but that's more my niggling subconscious than any faults of the guitar! This is a very hard-working and tough wee axe.

I've never had to deal with Aria except through my work for ordering bits and pieces (Aria UK) and they're great. But not for anything to do with this guitar.

I've been playing guitar for 3 years, fixing them for 4, also bass for 5 years. If this guitar was stolen I'd hunt the twit responsible and tie his testicles around his neck. Then I'd buy another new, and lock it away! I love this guitar, it's become a huge part of my music both recording and playing with the band. The only other thing I'd like it to do is make a decent cup of coffee...
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF SECOND HAND GUITARS...

I bought it 6 years ago, probably made 1998 though, Then It was new, so I bought it for a "special price". It's a MA29BS. Nice 22-fretted guitar, 5-way selector, tone and volume-control. Nice Floyd Rose bridge, tuner locks, etc... It has a really nice black/brown fade finish. Neck is maple/rosewood and I believe the body is Mahogany?

This guitar sounds great. It has quite good sustain, good bridge and ok pickups. It's really good for rock/pop-music, even metal, works pretty bad on jazz, but with right settings it'll do. The humbucker I like. Use it very much.

The guitar is well-built, I've had it for 6 years and still is a great instrument. only thing I can say is bad is that the knob on the 5-way switch has fallen of. but glue fixed that. Other, it's great.

I've been playing guitar for 8 years, and bass for 11... I also Play acoustic guitar (Levin) and I own 3 basses, Yamaha, Valley Art and Eagle(fretless). Pearl Drums and Zildjian cymbals. I was going to buy a cheaper guitar, but then they had this guitar new in store, I tried it out and it truly is a great guitar. Only guitar I think is better is a 60's or 70's Gibson LP custom. What I can compare to. Though It's probably cause I'm used to my guitar now. ;)

Well....Made in Japan in 1996, 24 frets bolt-on solid top painted in a metalized dark blue, one volume, one tone (push pull that controles de humbucker to meae it a single coil), H/S/S all passive.
I'm not sure what kind of wood is body, the neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is rosewood and not finished. It has a Floyd Rose licensed with the locking nut and a gotho tuners...all hardware in black. It has a neck that i really like his form...pretty thin..easy to play
I like also the form of the headstock..is pretty diferent to the others...:P

As i say above the piskups were passive...three years after buying it i was puting an emg 81 active pickup in the humbucker and changin electronics for the ones that cames with the emg.I play mainly metal ant things like that but this guitar is one of the most versatile i have seen. For metal with the emg really sound good.
I use it throught my Rocktron Voodu Valve and sounds good, it`s very quiet.

In this part is where more happy I am....I have play with a lot of high end guitars (unfortunetly not mine) such as ESP custom shop Ibanez Jem, Strato Usa and others..and my guitars has practicaly the same cuality and it didn'cost as much as this others. All was perfect from factory.
Only one complaint...the finish seems to be not has resistan has i will desire..it don't means its a bad finish...just i think the top laquer coat could be a bit more resistan

I've only play live with it one time but it is fine..another of the pros of the guitar is that it stay in tune for months ( 6 the last time)and when needed to retune i only nedd to change a bit the micro afination...too less time.
The hardware is the best..I'm sure It will continue as new for years..in fact it have some ones and doesn't change to much ..maybe one day I would polish the body
the strap are too solid..never have problems.
Of course I''l depend of it..well I REALLY depend of it because my other guitar is in my workroom making some big modifications...
Well use it on a gig without a backup...I'm not sure,,maybe yes but have a backup is always recomend...

I've never had to dealt directly with the company...and I have been in their webpage that its pretty poor
The warranty that give me the shop was for a year and included revisions each six months.
One time the first string broked and i needed to go holydays....when i returned my beauty floyd rose was literally horizontal. I give to the shop ( it wasn't in warranty...) and ask them to repair..ejem..they back it to me as i give them but with a new strings set..from them i do my owntech repairs..i don't want to put my guitars in any other hand..in fact i'm not sure if i will by another guitar that is not made by me..

I`ve been playing guitar since i buy this one ..I own a litle crate amplifier, a Zoom 505 that a really hate, a Rocktron Voodu Valve On-Line What i really love, a Rocktron MidiMate, (and its near an Engl 840/50 tube power amp, a rack case and a bheringer h412s)...in guitars I've a second hand Kramer that I am customizing , as far as i think it will not be a kramer anymore.. the only i use from this is the wood and some parts..
And the Aria..a really god guitar and very versatile too
For the price it's one of the best guitars i've never see..in fact is was my first guitar..i give a nine because it' not perfect..but ey esp's custom also aren't

Very strange in fact...because if you read the other post..mine is a bit different as it's only have 22 frets...but it's only written on the neck "magna series" not other indication of models (MA10 or Ma 40)
it's korean for sure, 3 pickups (S/S/H) Strat style with an amazing finish..a sort of gradation of purple..really beautiful..very thin neck... low action ,good frets..perfect for me..also the junction of the neck at the backside of the body, make the access very easy for soloing..

I bought my aria in 2000 and i am pretty sure it's korean. it has 24 frets and is a solid body made of alder with a laminated maple top it has 2 single coil duncan designed pick-ups and a seymor duncan humbucker. It has 1 volume and 1 tone toggle a 5-way selector switch and and a split switch for the hummer. It notably does not have active wiring the neck is maple and the fret board is indian rosewood. it has an arched top and is a cross between a jackson and strat in looks it has a transparent honey tone appearance and regularly changes from a deep orange to a bright yellow. it has a wilkinson set-up and no lock nuts the neck is very thin but has 24 jumbo's .

this guitar is awesome. i play with two bands 1 is a metal band and the other a funk bandit has a perfect sound for both but it can get a bit country sounding when using the split switch. I play it mainly through my marshall 100 watt valvestate but i also use a peavey 50 watt classic I think it shit's all over my bro's vintage strat it has a beatiful tone for almost all types of music it's got a very deep and throaty sound which is very rich. the only thing i don't like is how good the country tone is.

this guitar was beautifully set up when i got it the only thing i had to do was put 11-52 on it as it came with 10's every thing else remains the same as the day i bought it. the input was not done up tight enough so it turned itself out and i had to solder it back together. the body is made from 4 pieces of alder but you could yhink it was just one piece, excellently finished, ive had it two years and it hasn't yet got a chip but my jap strat is full of them.

this guitar will withstand pub gigs to metal gigs from jazz meets to punk performances to jug bands wonderfully. the finish is super thick and i cant see it going any where quick i have played a 4 major venues with this guitar without back up (my strat was gettin fixed) so i have depended on it. it is my favourite guitar outright

when i bought my aria from the shop it didn't come with tremelo bar which i thought was quite weird. and My dealer said he couldn't find one in australia so i played without one for about 18 months, then i decided that i would e-mail ariausa and tell them my problem with in the first day i recieved an e-mail back from them and 3 weeks i had recieved my trem bar free of charge or frieght.

if i ever lost this guitar or it was stolen i would contemplate suicide and then eat the sukker that stole it and then buy 2 of them and keep one of them locked away incase my new one was stolen i love every thing about it. as i said before the only thing that gets to me is how good it can sound when you play country. this is a awesome guitar and i would recomend it to any one.
