Guitar made in Japan, Nagoya at about 1980. The previous owner did not take much care about the guitar so there were scratches in the finish and apart from that cracks in the laquer caused by nothing but time. The top is solid cedar, back and sides laminated rosewood, and the fingerboard is rosewood also.
Sound

Sounds a bit strange, maybe because I did not dare to put my favorite hannabach high tension strings and used instead d'addario ej45 that I never heard on the other guitars. higher tones are not really bright and open D-string causes a little noise somewhere. But getting used it sounds fine, at least I like the ballance.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action a bit higher then I am used to, but could be adjusted for the medium tension strings, would not go down any further but I would say it is OK now.
Now the frets were a little bit flat, that is what I did not like the most in that guitar.

finishing is more or less OK for 25-30 years old guitar, see part 1. The neck is not deformed at all which happens with time even to more expensive guitars.

playing for 12 years, the guitar is quite average, not really good not really bad, too young to be of a value for collection, sounds and feels about the same compared to the guitars of this price range, but unlike those guitars you can be sure that it stays playable for another 10-20 years.
